I'm seriously in love with the soundtrack of The Da Vinci Code. And especially with the closing track called "Chevaliers de Sangreal", which you can still download HERE. I think that cue is one of the most beautiful ones Hans Zimmer has ever composed. I love its uplifting feeling, when it starts very quietly and grows stronger and more powerful all the time as more and more instruments join it. It starts with the quiet strings and French horns and as the cue goes on and both of them increase stronger and stronger they will be accompanied by the choir, and soon the cymbals lead to the high climax. Oh, and I love the almost hidden drums in the background. The melody is beautifully simple, yet a bit tricky, which I noticed when learning it on piano.

I downloaded the soundtrack a week ago and "Chevaliers de Sangreal" has already gotten the very first place on my Top 25 Most Played list on iTunes. I just can't stop listening to it. I'm gonna have SO MANY goosebumbs and cold shivers on Friday, when I'll see the movie.

Does anyone of you listen to PotterCast? I started subscribing to it when I got my iPod in February and have listened every episode since then. I love Melissa, Sue and John! They have killed me so many times! :D :D :D The thing is just that I listen to the PotterCast usually when I'm in bed in the evening and everyone else is sleeping, so it's very hard to hold back my laughter. :P Especially last night, when the show featured some great Potter impersonations people had voicemailed them. To be honest, the reactions of Melissa, Sue and John cracked me up much more than the impersonations themselves. xD

I really love the new Canon Conundrums section, in which they ponder and wonder about some Potter theories with Steve Vander Ark from The Harry Potter Lexicon. They really keep my interest to Potter mysteries alive. :)

"Dobby is freeeeeeeh!" xD <3

On Christina Aguilera's upcoming album "Back to Basics" there will be a track called "Candyman". At first I wasn't too keen on it, because of the song title, but one shouldn't go judging a song by its title. But now when I heard a clip of it I think I'm gonna love the song. It sounds very funny and it definitely seems to be a feel-good song. Download a short clip HERE.
