Oh! It's blueberry pie. I was testing out a new recipe.

Not a baker, no, but I did make it myself. [She seems so proud at that fact.] But I certainly know how to make a decent cake.

Chocolate? I have never eaten before myself but I know that chocolate is supposed to be very good.

[Blinks, but doesn't think much of it. After all, this place seems to be filled with unique individuals. Anyway, opening the door to her house now and beckoning her to follow into the kitchen.]

Chocolate is quite good. Would you prefer to make it from scratch or use a pre-packaged cake mix?

[Picking up the cake mix because pff she is lazy, but she makes sure that she removes the proper ingredients from the fridge and find a can of holy chocolate frosting.]

The mix is the easiest and most simple way. There's no real difference between making it on your own or using a mix. They taste about the same.

....If they taste the same then why are there two different ways? It does not seem practical.

I suppose some people get a sense of pride out of making it by themselves, and I'm sure everyone has a different recipe. Chocolate cake tends to be...standard, easy to make. It saves a lot of time and money, considering you don't have to buy all of the ingredients and make it by hand.

[Andddd breaking the two eggs into the bowl of cake mix now.]
