Lacey came home with me on May 24, 2009. In the past month, things have been absolutely crazy.
The first big thing we had to tackle was the kennel. Lacey has to be in the kennel at night and any time that I can't watch her. This has been a great thing that I did with Riley, and it really makes me feel like she's safe when I'm not there (and that she won't potty on my floor).
Riley hasn't been regularly kenneled in about a year and a half, but once the treats came out, he was glad to show Lacey how it's done. (This photo was actually a random occurrence, with no treats involved.)
Lacey likes to look out the back door and bark at things. Of course, she'd much rather be out there digging in the dirt/mud under the deck, so she can come in and make a huge mess in my kitchen.
She also loves to play with her toys, and to pull all of them off the shelf. Of course, it's much more efficient to just jump up on the shelf to get to the toys.
There's been a little bit of this...
...and a whole lot of this.
All in all, I think they like (or at least tolerate) each other. As for me, we're working on day 3 in a row with no pottying in the house...and that makes me love her a whole bunch more. :)
