Phew! Finally undergoing Tyranitar cleaning/restoration. I used teddy bear cleaner on his whole body, and used fabric stain remover on his rust spots, and dirty claws/fangs/spikes. That stuff works WONDERS.
I have my camera! and took pics! ... and left it at home. 8C but man, i dont think i can post progress until the eyes are done and fixed, as it seriously looks like im butchering him past repair atm ;_; my poor baby tar
I can definitely vouch for grandma's remover :D The generic teddy bear cleaner is weaker, and not for really bad stains.
SO I HAVE MY CAMERA, taking pics of stationery tonight ;_; thank you for the delay. but seriously i have like 5-10 lbs of stationery, so there is somethin for ya.
I found out the trick - LJ doesn't let me post unless i 'date out of order'. I had to go back and then edit it and uncheck the box. *bangs head on wall*
Oooh, can't wait to see pictures of the big guy lookin' all snazzy and clean-ified. :D I.. did not know they made a teddy bear/plush cleaner like that. How convenient! I'll have to remember that in case I ever get a dirty plush!
Hmm, could you take him to a cleaners and see if they'd steam clean him? I understand the treasure he is and you might not want to, but it's worth a shot, asking?
