Whitby!

Very strange Whitby this time. Fragmented. Spa very unpopular even with regulars. I hope the spa gets popular again because it's got:

• Loads of space (unlike the Buck)
• Lighted areas (unlike Laughtons or the Met)
• Live bands (haven't seen any anywhere else in Whitby)

OK so sometimes the sound system is bad, but I've heard (if that seems possible :) that

venues in whitby:
the resolution put on neon zoo (i think) in april;
the met has had bands in the overspill event too, just not this year.
so there is hope for wgw to take over all of whitby in the future, and not just the spa...
and if you hadn't been at the buck we wouldn't have got talking (other than just bela lugosi-ing across the pub)!

Yes, it's not a bad thing that we're spreading out, especially with some venues such as the Elsi, the Little Angel and the Spa getting overstretched. I think the Met can also be very packed some nights
