First of all, let me update a previous entry:
Your Kissing Purity Score: 26% Pure
You're not one to kiss and tell...
But word is, you kiss pretty well.
...so I haven't passed into the "For you, it's all kiss and no talk. You're in a permanent lip lock," but that's where I'll be if one more box is checked off...must stay away from tongue rings and kissing underwater...the rest are pretty gross.
Kissing Purity Test Now onto why I'm updating at 4:15 AM...
So it is currently the end of summer for me because in 10 hours I will be on a plane heading back home. So granted home is now a very relative term, it nevertheless is my permanent address and the location of my mother (for the time being). So it is 4:16 AM Western Time (7:16 Eastern Time) and I am fully awake, this is to be expected considering I've slept 18/24 hours in the past two days. The plus side is that I'm fully caught up on any sleep I've missed in the past 2 weeks due to people keeping me awake (not to name names...). Back from the tangent...I've spent three months in Arizona and the past week in Seattle.
Arizona was a great experience, I met some really cool people and all will be missed greatly from my life (I know I'm not emotional so this is about as much indication as any of you will ever get of this), I will absolutely keep in touch with all who will let me but it was extremely sad to pack up and have to leave everyone behind. I think the saddest was the evening when my dad arrived...was supposed to go to a party with all the interns (by all I mean all who I've been hanging out with lately) at a club I had no guarantee of getting into, I ended up pushing off the leaving time for this event and in the end spent about 3 hours saying goodbye to someone else...but it's ok, because I saw most of the people the next day and though I missed saying goodbye to Cassie, Nick and Lindsay directly, I have the feeling that I will see all of them again very soon, one way or another. So spent a lot of time with previously-mentioned-other-person and am glad I did.
Have determined from much input from others that things at Intel went well, albeit not the best match for me but very interesting learning experience. Hoping for Boeing next summer
Seattle is a city I love more everytime I visit it. I don't think there is anything about the city that I do not like...I like Freemont's randomness and hemp lipgloss, UW is a beautiful university, though small engineering dept., Pike's Place Market is constant entertainment, Belltown is ridiculous but very pretty, The Seattle Center...well what can I say, Space Needle is definetely something to see, view from Hancock center in Chicago doesn't stand a chance, Twin Towers came close when they stood (sorry NY pplz)...the Experience Music project is not worth the money for anyone over 10 with any knowledge of music history, thankfully the only interesting part is free! REI was amazing, it's the original and definetely worth the 10 min. bus ride to see it. The Ballard Locks are an engineers dream, completely entrancing for those of us bred in that mindset. Saw Snoqualmie falls, really pretty, still hoping to go visit the mountains some day. I've been staying in Bellevue and there's not much more to say about that, it's a pretty mid-to-high end area and has anything you could want but the best part is that my sister is due to give birth withint the week! Will definetely update when that is finalized. (closed AR?)
Can't wait to get back to Marina, Shuky and all the people in Gainesville. Will be turning 21 this semester so I just want to start and get there.
Future plans include a trip to Ohio for Halloween perhaps, a trip to Orlando or Atlanta to visit friends, a plan to get the Phi Rhos down to FLA ;) , and definetely a trip to the city of NEW YORK (still have to find a reason to go, will probably drag Marina with :P ).
So, though ferrets are not allowed in New York City, I have met many people this summer from the area and would love to visit them on occasion...and I am talking about more than one person for those of you grinning out there.
So now I'm out of steam and it's almost 5 AM...will continue this in another post.
