Sookie returned to her room with a steaming cup of hot chocolate, fresh from a walk in town, to find that she'd received an email from Jason.

Yeah, go figure: Jason was the more tech-savvy of the Stackhouses

Please. Bobby's inner child was... well, at times it was pretty much his outer child, too.

Although at the moment his thoughts were anything but childish.

"I," he announced, as he sauntered in to the room, "am so bored I almost considered taking a nap. How is that even possible?" he made a face.

"You're talking to the girl who lies out in the sun for fun in the summer months. Tanning's only a bikini and a lawn chair away from a straight-up nap," Sookie replied with a grin, oh-so-swiftly clicking away from that page, lest he see. "Are you expecting me to entertain you, darlin'?"

"Mmm, maybe not expecting so much as, well... hoping?" Bobby said with a grin.

"We could play hide and seek," Sookie suggested, just to be a brat, as she raised an eyebrow. "Maybe some I Spy? Oooh, or cops and robbers!"

It should be noted that it was taking most of her willpower to be bratty, which was probably not a good use of her available resources.

"I don't know," Bobby mused. "That sounds awfully strenuous. I was thinking maybe Parcheesi? Or a nice rousing game of Backgammon."

"I thought of that too, but I don't have a Parcheesi board or anything," Sookie noted sadly.

"I bet you there's a website for online Parcheesi," Bobby said wisely.

"I'm also not very good at Parcheesi," Sookie added, frowning. "Maybe Monopoly? I rock at Monopoly."

"Monopoly with just two people?" Bobby said skeptically. "You'd probably kick my ass in like five minutes."

"I dunno, you're the accountant," she offered. "But if not board games, Bobby, whatever will we do?"

Yeah, but Bobby also had the attention span of... something with a limited attention span. After about five minutes of Monopoly he was usually bored enough to start losing on purpose.

"Welllllll..." he drawled. "I might have an idea. Or two."

"Two ideas?" she asked, setting aside her computer and lounging a bit on her pillows. "Are they entertaining ideas? Because they should really be quality ideas."

"...What is this, Dragon's Den?" Bobby smirked. "Are you gonna vote on which idea gets to go forth and happen?"

"I like that," she decided. "But the thing is that if I vote, there's only one of me. Not a great 'vote,' really. But you can share these ideas, anyway."

And now he was sauntering over to where Sookie was lounging. "I was thinking maybe..." he bent down to whisper in her ear.

Sure, they were technically alone, but there could be squirrels lurking by the window! Or gremlins in the air vent, or something. They didn't need to hear what Bobby had to say.

Sookie giggled at the whispering, then blushed at what was being whispered. "Way more fun than Monopoly," she decided, reaching out for the front of his shirt so she could tug him close.
