Comrades

Abel (mindwiped)
The guy that took Harley in when he was new to Somarium, alone, lost and afraid, wandering around in the Industrial District. Harley looks up to him, not just as his first real friend, but as something of a mentor, too; Abel knows far more about life outside the Junkyard than Harley does, including how to do that wonderful thing called cooking. He's someone Harley trusts and feels he can depend on. He makes him feel safe.

Now if only he'd come back to Somarium....

Rise (notjust_risette)
She's sweet to him, she helps him figure out about life outside the Junkyard, and she keeps introducing him to new, fun things. She's someone he loves having around; she's like a... what's the term for it? Little sister? ...Except that she knows more about a lot of things than he does, still. He'll be there for her however he can. ♥

Uncertain/unclassified

Arthas (retributing)
Something about him reminds him of Lupa. Only... without the Tribe rivalry between them.

Audrey II (meangreenmutha)
Harley doesn't know what to make of a talking plant, but speaking to him was starting to make him wonder if the greenery in the back yard is alive in the thinking sense, and simply unable to talk. Even if he doesn't see Audrey again, he'll probably be giving the grass an odd look now and then.

Bat (shitcrazy)
Once Bat admitted that he ate people, Harley decided to stay far away from him too... except, Bat hasn't caused him any trouble, and he hasn't really heard anything about Bat going on rampages. And recently, Bat even proposed an official peace treaty. Maybe he's not so bad after all!

Danny (phantomfenton)
He hasn't spoken much with the kid, but so far, he kinda likes him. He's apparently helpful, willing to explain things and give advice on what to avoid and where it is, and he sees no evidence of Danny turning into a horrible monster the likes of which should not exist and eating people. It's a plus!

Jaina (wantedtostudy)
She seems pleasant enough, and she's managed to calm him down before, giving him a few answers and distracting him when he first arrived in Somarium -- but the fact that she said something about not getting involved, and then didn't stop the Embryon from... when they tracked him down, and he... okay, so he really isn't sure what exactly happened back there in Espoir, when he found himself cornered, but she didn't step in, as far as he's aware. And that's rather disappointing to him.

Jinana (usas_aurora)
Her calmness is somewhat comforting to him, and it probably helps that as their Tribe territories were separated by Sahasrara and the Karma Temple, he didn't end up in any epic showdowns with her or her Tribe. She has the unique distinction of being the only person from the Junkyard that he doesn't actually fear to some extent yet, even if she has admitted to being able to turn into a demon.

On Guard

Argilla (breast_feeder)
She's one of the Embryon. Specifically, she's one of the three Embryon that came into his base, just after the explosion that panicked him so badly, and chased him down. Needless to say, he's still terribly scared of her.

He's not too sure how to take her disappearance, though. On one hand, he's glad he won't be running into her too soon... on the other, he feels guilty for feeling that way about it. He knows her comrades probably miss her, and after all the firsthand experience he's had with being upset over people leaving, he can't quite bring himself to smile about it, for their sake. Sympathy's a pain.

Cielo (dyausa_pita)
He's one of the Embryon too -- and although Cielo hasn't made any direct move against him since the explosion at the start of DDS1, the Embryon as a whole are on Harley's list of reasons to keep the doors locked at night.

Gale (honor_tactics
The fact that Gale's one of the Embryon officers, and turns into a man-eating monster, is enough reason for Harley to keep far, far away from him. He'll talk to him over the Dreamberry, though... maybe the strategist isn't as bad as his Leader? After all, he did apologize, even if he wasn't one of the three who'd chased him through his base, and he hasn't shown himself to be hostile, that Harley remembers. Civility is a good thing.

Heat (fevoreish)
Although he's very much afraid of the Embryon as a whole, he's especially terrified of Heat and Heat's demon Agni. Especially since Heat keeps declaring an interest in, and has demonstrated a desire to, twice now, attack and eat him. While still alive, even. Suffice to say that he won't willingly enter an area if he knows that the redhead is there, without a very good reason, or some serious coaxing from someone he trusts.

Glad he's not in Somarium. Harley'll rest a lot easier at night now.

Roland (whowillguardyou)
He claims he joined the Embryon after they left the Junkyard and ended up where he lived... and he's keeping to the supplements instead of going after anyone, so he seems like he might be okay. Maybe. He's really... calm. It's a nice change, even if it does throw Harley off guard a little.

Sera (shanti_shaman)
Thanks to the fact that her clothes say she's one of the Embryon, he'll consider her such: someone to be wary of and generally avoided. Sorry, sweetie. He still hasn't found out that she never had a demon form, and doesn't eat people.

On the other hand, she's really sweet to him, and this confuses the heck out of him. He really doesn't know what to make of it. He hopes she really is as nice and as harmless as she seems, but wary of getting too close in case one of the other Embryon have objections. He doesn't know where they might draw the line, but he isn't willing to cross it. As long as he doesn't get objections, he'll be willing to do her favors, make her plushie toys and such, and speak with her over the Dreamberry. Maybe pleasing her will keep the other Embryon at bay? If potential politics of this sort weren't involved, he'd definitely be more relaxed about how he gets along with her.

He's kind of sad she disappeared. As far as the Embryon went, she was his favorite... and he'd just finished more dolls for her, too.

Serph (cannibalcrown)
Leader of the Embryon, one of Harley's long-time rivals. In his mind, their history in the Junkyard isn't as offputting as the fact that Serph, with two others, came into his base back in Svadhisthana, turned into monsters, and attacked and killed him. And then tracked him down in Espoir again later, to attack him once more. And since he never tried apologizing, or saying he was sorry for any of it, he is most definitely not getting a card for Christmas any favors from him. Unless he insists. Then Harley'd do it out of fear.

Harley's currently very relieved that Serph is gone.
