Although he did harbour some yearnings to go to college after he graduated high school, when all his friendships were left in tatters, he decided to bite the bullet and travel to Australia to go backpacking instead. After the New Directions fight, he was left with a sense of fuck it all and decided to try something he might not have done if he stayed and followed his friends to college. He met up with some great people and made cash working in bars or dressing up like giant animals for kids' parties. He even worked as a strippergram for awhile there just for a laugh. In fact, he came to love Australia so much, he didn't want to go home to America after his two years overseas was up.
Instead, his now best friend, and lesbian hairdresser, Jessica, offered to marry him to help him get an Australian permanent residency, and the rest was history. He jokingly proposed to her on a climb of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and they got married on a ferry on Sydney Harbour a month later. With his visa in place, Mike was able to nab more permanent work and was soon working as a Choreographer for a small Sydney Theatre company. When the invitation arrived from Mr Schue, life was good, and as Mike opened that fated email, he couldn't help but wonder if maybe it was too good to be true. Mike's deep, dark secret is that he is an award-winning gay porn star by night. It wasn't the career avenue he ever expected to find himself on, but it pays extremely well and with no ties, why not just have some fun in life?

She was the Captain of the Cheerios and dating the quarterback, Finn Hudson. She was popular and loving it, and even though she was the picture of perfect little Christian virgin, she was far from that. In sophomore year, she started to see Finn's football team mate, Mike Chang, behind his back but she figured it was payback for him making gooey eyes constantly at Rachel Berry. She never regretted anything and she continued to see Mike in secret for many months moonlighting on her relationship with Finn, and eventually gave up her V-card to Mike one night when his parents were out at a business dinner. She fell hard for Mike and eventually dumped Finn for him early in Junior year when Finn turned into the resident douchebag after Rachel apparently got herself stupidly knocked up by resident dickhead and self-professed BAMF, Noah Puckerman. She and Mike hooked up and became the school's power couple whilst Finn turned bad-boy and ended up in juvie for decking Karofsky when he was bullying Kurt... something Quinn actually admired him for, because how dare anyone hurt the fag to her hag!
Which was a whole other story in itself. Quinn knew that her friendship with Kurt was founded on deceit and blackmail, but once they got close, she discovered that instead of picking on him, she wanted to be his friend and he was an amazing person. She hadn't understood the concept of being homosexual, which is why she slotted into the mindset of those around her, driven by the influence of her pristinely Christian parents. He helped open her eyes and soon she would defend his honour to anyone who tried to hurt him because of his sexuality. She never knew how badly the bully got, though. Kurt was always good at hiding things and being unreadable, but she did know about his eating disorder. She was aware she should try to help him with it, but she also know what it was like to have secrets. She resolved to keep his if he kept hers, and still protected them with her life even after she and Mike went public.
When Miss Holliday came into the picture, Quinn couldn't be more relieved as she witnessed Kurt's problem peak and he started to look more and more ill with it. Holly's intervention was perfectly timed, even if her fellow Cheerios Co-Captain still continued to battle with it.
Quinn found herself torn when Kurt got accepted to a college in Miami and planned to move there with Holly. By that time, Quinn wasn't sure if she could live without the guy who had fast become her best friend. She got accepted into Yale's Humanities program as pre-law and nearly threw it in to chase Kurt to Miami, but when Mike also got accepted into Yale with pre-med, Kurt convinced her to follow her heart so he could live vicariously through her and she did. A year later on the completion of their first year at college, Mike popped the question and Quinn happily accepted. They found, though, that when they both kept putting off their wedding plans that maybe they weren't as ready as they thought.
Quinn applied to Law School at the University of Miami when she dearly missed Kurt, and was accepted there. Mike's choice to follow her was easy and he got accepted to Med School at the same college, but once they got to Miami and thrown into their respective college courses, their relationship started to wane. They fought as much as they could, but decided mutually to call it quits to save their friendship rather than have it crash and burn. They're now close friends, and even though they miss the intimacy, they know they made the right choice at the end of the day.

After finally receiving the approval of both parents to follow his dancing dreams in his senior year, Mike began to apply for colleges offering dance programs and after some rigorous auditions, was accepted into AMDA, the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in LA and completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Theatre. He also decided to go on and complete their advanced Dance Theatre Conservatory Program, and is now in his final year of that along with having score a job a year ago as a Movie Choreographer right in the heart of Hollywood.
One of Mike's biggest decisions in his life was to come out as bisexual to his then-girlfriend, Tina Cohen-Chang at the end of his senior year (and her junior). They had a good long heart-to-heart and agreed that their relationship had come to it's natural end and were strong enough to remain very close friends with her, and she helped and encouraged him to not only follow his dreams, but find the right path with his sexuality. He dated old school friend, Sam Evans, briefly over the summer following his high school graduation but it didn't last long and fizzled out when Mike had to leave for the West Coast.
Mike is now more than happy within himself and his sexuality. His thriving career in dance keeps him busy, but he often looks at the likes of Kurt and Blaine, and Nick and Jeff, and wishes he had that sort of relationship and connection with someone to share the special moments with. He adores his friends, but he gets lonely and misses that constant of a loving relationship. Buying a couple of goldfish for his apartment just really did cut it, unfortunately.

Mike will admit that he shamelessly followed everyone else to London. He didn't want to miss out on the fun that he was convinced they were all going to have without him, but funding the trip definitely became a question mark when his folks really disapproved of Mike's choice not to go to college. It was Kurt's random joking suggesting that Mike should become a model that had Mike actually running with the suggestion. He scraped together enough cash for at least a backpacking trip to London, and submitted some photos to a few modelling agencies. It seemed like it could be easy cash, and his dancing meant he had the body for it.
Basically, he was snapped up and soon nabbed a job as one of Calvin Klein's finest. He never looked back and became a well-known face in the London fashion industry, but took up teaching dancing to keep his interests there fresh. It was being in this strange new world that had him realising he swung both ways and started having random flings with other male and female models, photographers, agents... you name it. But he was happy enough, and earning extremely good cash. He now owns a cute little trendy apartment in Soho and although he has a shit load of friends and acquaintances through his work, he still considers the old McKinley crew his family and is part of the furniture at Puck's pub at least once a week.

Despite wanting to be a dancer when he grew up and having been on the football team right through school, average Ohio teenager, Mike Chang made the dramatic decision to become a nurse when he graduated high school. Once their careers started to get intense, however, with long hours and roster clashes, they decided to part ways, but stayed really close friends and are now BFFs, working at the same hospital and still very much a huge part of each others lives.

Mike is a Muggle Born wizard brought into the world by two Oxford University Academics who came to England from China when they were teens as childhood sweethearts to study at Oxford themselves. They loved the country so much they never left, and Mike is the apple of their eye. His father is a Professor of Medicine and his mother is a Professor of History, and with Mike being an only child, they were stunned when his Hogwarts letter arrived on his eleventh birthday. Mike himself knew nothing of a magical world existing, but his mother had some knowledge of the possibility through her studies. It took some getting used to, but despite wanting Mike to be somewhat of an academic himself, they agreed to let him follow his obvious path to Hogwarts to learn more of his apparent natural magical talent.
Mike was always more artistic and sporty than into studying anyway, even if he was naturally bright from his parents. In his Muggle primary school, he topped his classes and was always one of the smart cookies. It was what landed him in Ravenclaw according to the Sorting Hat, but Mike's most-loved activity will always be dancing. He loves it and would love to do it professionally one day, even if it means going back to live in the Muggle World. However, Hogwarts doesn't have much room for performing arts, focusing more on magical studies, so Mike joined the Glee Club when it was formed for a laugh with pal Sam, and signed up to Quidditch in his second year because it looked like fun.
Now he just takes life in his stride, even if it took him some time to find his wizard feet initially. His best mate, and now boyfriend, is Hufflepuff Sam and they're extremely close, together whenever they are able to beyond the House divide. Never one to really put much thought into anything, Mike is happy with his place and even though he's a little nervous about what might come, he's happy to just enjoy his final year at Hogwarts for now.
