1. Which of your characters know her story? And which characters believe in Happily Ever After?Cindy is okay with people recognising her from the fairy tale. She knows that with Camp being the kind of place that it is, her cover will be blown sooner or later even without her obviously named shoe store and her even more obvious name. Cindy's a Fable ( Read more... )

Lizzie would most definitely recognize Cindy and believes in Happily Ever Afters.

I doubt Cindy would recognize Lizzie, though. Kuroshitsuji is not very mainstream outside of anime fandom.

Yeah, no bad endings for Lizzie--she pings as way too innocent.

Dee would recognize Cindy and kind of sort of believes in Happily Ever Afters.

Ikki would, and doesn't really believe in it so much because it sounds like a pussy thing :|a

Delirium would recognize Cindy, and I am okay with Cindy having read The Sandman and recognizing her.

Belphegor would know the story of Cinderella, since he is a European prince. He thinks Happily Ever Afters are stupid. His canon does have some manga volumes released in the US, but is mostly known online through fansubs and scanlations.

Accelerator might not actually know Cinderella. He's Japanese and was fairly isolated in his home city, never really cared about foreign media, etc. His canon is really popular in Japan, but like with Bel's, not so much in the US.

Nana would not know Cinderella. She led a sheltered life. :( Elfen Lied's anime is pretty well known in the US, so if you think Cindy might have watched it, I am fine with Nana being recognized.

OMG--Sandman! Del's type of Fable are number one on the list of "people" Cindy treads warily around.

Cindy agrees with Bel most of the time.

1. Tesla would most definitely know her story. Kuja might, since he's been reading assorted things from the camp library. Gabranth would not. None of them really believe in Happily Ever After.

2. Kuja and Gabranth are video-game characters from popular series. Tesla... well, I suppose it depends on if she's inclined to watch the Syfy channel? He's also canonically the historical figure as well, not that he's likely to be running by his real name in camp.

Cindy's been around the Mundy world for over 200 years--she would have heard of Tesla. Just not this version I guess?

Well. The way Sanctuary canon goes is this. Historical Nikola Tesla ended up injecting himself with something that made him part vampire. His death was faked, and he's been mostly underground since then.

So. It's complicated. :|b

Wow. I've seen the Sanctuary eps around--but Tesla as a vampire?

Cindy would flag you as a person of interest, btw.

Impulse has read it/believes in happily ever after, Azula has no idea, Ramona has read it/doesn't believe and would think Charming was a douchebag.

Mytho is the interesting one since he's the equivalent of a Fable. He's the Prince from Drosselmeyer's "The Prince and the Raven" brought to life plus, spoilers [he is kind of Prince Siegfried but lacking his heart/memory] and he definitely knows of Cinderella but mostly from the ballet.

Isn't ironic that Mytho would probably dance the Prince Charming role? ^^

I love Princess Tutu!

Charming is basically an amalgamation of the handsome prince from most fairy tales. This also means that he's every lady's Prince Charming.
