The only thing that bothers me about the story is his harem of like, 5 women that are infatuated/in love with him. But he’s cute and dumb and does not notice, so in my mind it evens out because he’s adorable. Also he fails at saving money which is a personal pet peeve of mine, learn to be responsible with your money Kvothe!! :| But I also understand it because he's like, 14 and needs to know how to save for the rest of his life and still keep up appearances and go out drinking with his friends, etc.
Other than that, I just finished school so I am piling up on books to read over summer. I always see Wintersmith at my library, but we only have one copy of The Wee Free Men and it’s always checked out. As soon as I see it I will get it! Uh. Book recommendations? This counts as a question okay.

Most things by Neil Gaiman--both YA and adult.
Diana Wynne Jones' books--a good start would be books like A Tale of Time City for the standalone books or The Lives of Christopher Chant for the Chrestomanci series.
Ursula Le Guin's Earthsea series.
The Princess series by Jim C. Hines--all three fairytale princess as Charlie's Angels, only their boss is a women and they kick ass. And Sleeping Beauty is gay for Snow White.
I could go on, but reverse for book commendations. YA or adult fiction is okay.

Eon: Dragoneye Reborn is a good book if you're into chinese mythology and settings, and the female heroine is a pretty strong character! The second book should be coming out soon, too.
I like anything by Tamora Pierce; I don't think she's written anything recently, but she still has a ton of YA books that are worth reading. My favorites are The Circle of Magic quartets.
T.A.Barron's books! He wrote 7ish books on Merlin and then a trilogy on Merlin's decedent; they are very good and I spent my middle school years obsessing over them.
Poison Study and Magic Study by Maria Snyder are really good, but the last book in the trilogy was honestly a disappointment because it was just like Magic Study. They're still an entertaining read with a nice bit of magic and politics.
I also could go on, but that's plenty for now and the ones I would encourage you to read. Mmmm questions are hard. What pings you about your characters?

Tiffany: She is such a prickly teenager who wants to be both an adult and a teenager at the same time. It is also interesting to play someone who is so literal sometimes that she looks like she doesn't have a sense of humor. She can be hard to play because she is mostly aware of her own issues all the time--thank you First Sight, Second Thoughts and Third Thoughts.
Cindy: Ex-princess is so incredibly social and brash most of the time while being rootless and noncommittal in her personal life compared to the commitment she shows towards her job. It's a thing that sometimes plagues people--detachment from people and commitment to ideals that makes her a good spy and a terrible person to have a long-term relationship with. And she's not really smart or willing to stare down her issues like Tiffany does.
Was that a weird set of pings?
Machika and Leo's terrible/wonderful road trip adventure--aka what would your characters do when thrown together in a strange situation?

R-road trip...I will take this literally because I can't think of any other kind of strange situation.
Well, it would not just be them. TOO CODEPENDENT, CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT SIGNIFICANT OTHER. Their car would also contain Elliot and Rain, and Alice so that Machika is not the only girl.
Leo would constantly be wandering off looking at interesting things and finding libraries in the most obscure places. He would probably be the "leader" because everyone would have to go find him...so wherever he wanders is where they go, even if they have a destination already set. :'D Machika would be pretty chill with that, because she doesn't care what they're doing as long as she's ~with Rain~. But she will inevitably get into a brawl with Leo because he doesn't treat Alice nice and then Leo will chuck a table at her and Elliot and Rain will have to break them up before they kill each other. I am slightly terrified of ever having them meet in Camp because that's basically what would happen.
If Alice wasn't there they would probably get along just fine, because Machika likes Elliot well enough but is not interested in him romantically because she has Rain! And she is a bright, cheerful person who can yell at Elliot so Leo doesn't have to, idk. Basically Alice ruins their potential friendship and I can only find this hilarious.
If Tiffany and Cindy swapped canon backstories, how would their personalities/powers change?

Tiffany wouldn't have stood for it if she had a stepmother who mistreated her. Any stepmother would have been jelly within a day of being stared at by Tiffany. And she might go to the dark side if someone pushed her towards using her considerable willpower and observation skills to even the score. If that ever happened, then she'd get put down by the other witches, most probably Granny Weatherwax as she's the one usually called in for that sort of thing.
Cindy would have wound up as an adventuress or a seamstress in Ankh-Morpork (read: lady of negotiable affection) who dabbles in intrigue because sod this farming, she's not one to be a dairymaid or a witch. So there's not that much difference in her personality except for the part where she won't be immortal and she won't be a Fable.
Reverse for Leo and Machika?

I wasn’t expecting a reverse and when I thought about it I grew concerned.
Machika would have been seen as completely crazy growing up because she’d be yelling at the voices in her head all the time and also comment on weird things like those pretty shining lights everywhere. She would freak everyone the hell out by DISAPPEARING for days on end and then come back going “whoops I was exploring that black hole but it’s cool, you guys, all of the zombies are dead now!” And when she eventually met Elliot she would probably CLING insufferably because oh my god it’s a person who talks to me. Uh. I highly doubt any of the Terrible Things that happened to Elliot would happen with Machika there, because she would watch his back and have developed her powers/control over Things more than Leo has. She would be Elliot’s servant as long as he paid her and would complain about it all of the time and call him stupid and throw things at him when he did something wrong. And then they would work together to Fix The Abyss or whatever the hell is going on in Pandora Hearts and the world would be saved The End.
Leo…would have grown up, gone to school, been an average child with a short temper, and been sad when Grandfather died. Very sad, but not cripplingly so. Would not have become a bounty hunter to catch Rain because why would you want to, that was Grandfather’s goal not mine. HE WOULD PROBABLY NEVER MEET RAIN IN HIS LIFE EVER. :|b Plus if he did it would be full of so much indifference and Rain going 8D “You’re Zol’s grandchild!!” or something. But mostly never meeting Rain. And then the world would be destroyed YUCA WINS THE END.
SO GUESS WHO WORKS FOR HER HAPPY ENDINGS. While someone else is just utterly passive about everything. S-sob, Leo, why are you not like Machika.
Thinking of questions is so hard when I am perpetually sleepy UHMMMM. What are Cindy and Tiffany’s weaknesses, if they have any?

Cindy is a lot closer to a fanatic than Tiffany will ever be. So that makes her dumber and less likely to see the point of view of the other side. But she's working on it. Slowly.
Tiffany is a teenage girl with all the issues that a teenage girl has. It gives her the occasional case of the stupid because she is very rash. And when she can't think straight, things tend to get worse.
Leo's relationships with people who are not Elliot?

So outside of Elliot he has one friend. Canon is a pretty miserable place for Leo, okay.
Camp: He does not have a super lot of CR, but I have to say it is infinitely better than canon. People don’t hate Elliot! People are actually friends with Elliot. Which makes them okay to talk to. And the people in camp are interesting. He enjoys talking to them and learning things about their worlds, etc, but he doesn’t want to get too invested because eventually they will be leaving. Despite that, he still finds himself enjoying the people without having to force himself to be polite. Idk, did you want specifics?
He doesn’t like Alice because it’s Alice and he’s being petulant about her or something. After being drunk he decided they can SHARE, though.
He thinks Leto is a douchebag. 8|
He actually likes Necoco well enough, but JUDGES him for everything. Just…don’t be so gay at everything, cat robot.
He thinks Domeki is sensible and we need sensible around all of this crazy.
There are other people but I am sleepy and forget.
Is there anyone that Cindy or Tiffany would want in camp?

Tiffany would like Granny Weatherwax to experience Camp because she'd like to see someone make sense of it and she would like to see if Granny handles it any better--witches are competitive that way.
Who would Machika want at Camp? I figured Leo doesn't want anyone other than Elliot . . .

Machika wouldn't really wish Camp on anyone, but she does miss her friends. She'd want Kiki here because she misses Kiki terribly and is worried that he is eating Ayla out of house and home.
SHE WANTS GRANDFATHER HERE. She knows that dead people can be in Camp, and people from different points in time. She really, really wants to see Grandfather, and every time she deages she remembers how much she misses him. :( She isn’t expecting it, and she knows that would only make it harder to leave when the time comes. But she still really wants to see him.
She also wants Ayla, but only a little bit! Ayla is Machika’s very close friend, and Machika would like to see her, but she also wants Ayla to live her own life and not be trapped in a place like Camp. Machika has other girl friends in Camp that she can confide in, like Cindy and Alice. And Machika is also used to not seeing Ayla for a really long time, since they tend to go their separate ways for 6 months and then see each other again. So as long as she sees Ayla again someday, she’s not too concerned.
Does not want Eury here. :( He was sad when he was here and it’s better if he’s out living his life too.
What do Cindy and Tiffany think of all of the people with magic/powers in Camp? Just their reactions to it in general.

Tiffany: Magic's pretty normal back at home because home is saturated with magic. But it's harder to use magic back at home because it's basically about pushing against the magic field. The magic users from other places don't seem to have those sorts of constraints and it is worrying. Tiffany doesn't believe that power comes for free and power definitely corrupts the user. On the other hand, different kinds of magic, yay! She would like to study some of it at the very least.
What does Leo think of the magic users in Camp? Has he ever thought about getting help from them?
