Good episode of "Rookie Blue" on Sunday night (2x05 "Stung") - are they going down the love triangle route with Luke, Jo (is that her name?) and Andy then? Actually it's more of a love square if you include Sam who is obviously in love with Andy. Interesting. I'd like to see Luke admit things to Andy (I kinda like him and don't want him to become that guy) or at least call off the engagement because he's obviously not ready to commit to her.
I'm also seeing sparks between Gail and Dov which is interesting. Surely they're not gonna go down the love triangle route with them two and Chris too. I don't think one show can handle two triangles at once. Gail and Dov do have amazing chemistry though and now they're sort of friends they're really sweet together.
In other news, went to see John Barrowman last night. Bit of a screw up on seetickets' part as they'd printed doors 7.30 on the ticket when what they really meant was that John was on stage at 7.30pm. We ended up missing the first twenty minutes which was annoying. Especially as we were there early but spent ages looking for somewhere to park. Anyway, John was brilliant, of course. he's such a great all round entertainer and you can tell he really loves doing it!
I know it sounds weird to say but he's got such a great voice - it sounds obvious but you kind of forget that because he doesn't sing that much when he's on TV. His voice is flawless which was even more noticable on some of the slower songs he did - including a great stripped back version of "The Winner Takes It All".
Between all the singing he told some really funny, entertaining stories about various things.
Yep, really enjoyed it. And the Watford Colosseum (I really hate that word, I can never spell it!) is a really nice venue.
In tattoo news: it seems to be healing nicely, it's all scabbed up now. It's still a bit sore though (I don't remember the ones on my other shoulder being this sore but they were done by a different artist). I can't wait to see it once it's all healed. Doesn't normally take very long.
Good TV schedule for me tonight - Castle/Five-0/Alphas (the first two of those aired last night in the US). Looking forward to Five-0:
Apparently there's some kind of storyline, I'm not entirely sure what it is.
