What's a Snookie?

"Dirty Pretty Words" by Alex Parks came on iPod on the way home from work today. I hadn't heard that song in a while. My LiveJournal (and subsequently my Tumblr) is named after that song.

In other news: I watched the movie "The Invisible" last night - I only watched it because Alex O'Loughlin was in it. He wasn't in it much unfortunately and his character was a douche. The film itself was okay. It started out quite well but lost its way a bit in the middle and the ending was quite good. It had potential but didn't quite reach it. Bit disappointing really.

Oh, and Finn from "Glee" made a fleeting appearance.

After the movie I watched "Supernatural" - 6x14 "Mannequin 3: The Reckoning" - the episode on a whole was okay but that anatomy mannequin at the beginning was quite possibly the scariest thing I've ever seen! I was seriously almost hiding under my covers during that scene! I hate those kinda things! The rest of the mannequins weren't quite as scary as the first one. The possessed mannequins storyline was decent enough and I liked the twist of her sister having her kidney being why burning the remains didn't work. Felt sorry for the sister at the end.

As for the subplot involving Dean/Lisa/Ben. I'm afraid I found that part really boring. I was just willing Dean to just go and hunt a demon or something! All that stuff just seemed a bit soapy and didn't really belong in this show.

I've heard that next weeks is really funny. I'm quite looking forward to it but at the same time I don't want to have expectations that are too high.

Then I watched "Franklin and Bash" - 1x09 - which I enjoyed as usual. It was awesome seeing James Van Der Beeks appearance! Dawson Leery and Zack Morris sharing screen time! That's like 90's nostalgia heaven! Or something.

I liked it at the end when Peter convinced his ex-girlfriend not to postpone the wedding. That was really nice of him, considering he obviously still has feelings for her. Oh, and the scenes at the end of every episode of Jared and Peter at that diner are always cool! Nice to get a guy hug too. Other than that scene and a few others there didn't seem to be quite enough Jared and Peter moments. Scenes between them are when the show is at it's best. They're so good together.

Unfortunately, I think it's the finale next week. Speaking of finales, the season one finale of "Suits" airs in the US tonight (I'll probably watch it tomorrow night). I can't believe it's gonna be over. I'm really gonna miss it.
