Last nights "Teen Wolf" (1x05 "The Tell") was actually really good - best one yet - and it seems like the show really went to another level with it and I hope it stays there now. There's some great ongoing storylines happening too and I really want to know who the aplha is (if you've seen it and already know, please don't tell me).
I love Stiles as a character the more the show goes on (the guy who plays him is so funny) and Scott's even growing on me and Derek is pretty cool too. I did think it was silly that Scott and Allison decided to ditch school on the day of the parent teacher conference. There was no way they were gonna get away with that when their parents were talking to their teachers who were bound to make a comment about them not being in. Silly!
I have a hard time convincing people that this show is actually worth a look - Jo just informs me that she's too old for these kind of shows now but I keep telling her that in overall tone it's not that different to "Supernatural". I think the name is a bit off putting and the trailers did make it look naff (although I remember seeing the trailers for "Supernatural" on ITV2 and thinking that looked naff too)
Anyway, good episode last night, I hope it continues to be this strong. Will be disappointing if it's goes backwards now.
Last nights "Hellcats" finale was also really good - seemed everything a season finale should be. They also planted some seeds of possible storylines in season 2 so it's a shame there's isn't gonna be one. Certain parts of the finale seemed really final, like they knew it was the last one ever, but then other parts seemed to be leading into another season.
Shame the show was so inconsistent, there were some really good episodes over the season but I guess there just weren't enough.
Then I watched "Torchwood: Miracle Day" (episode 4?) which was okay but I'm starting to find Gwen really annoying. I don't remember her being this annoying before. She's just so loud and obnoxious. All she ever does is yell and moan about something. I'm actually enjoying Rex and Esther as characters more than her, which isn't how it should be as she's an original Torchwood character.
I'm interested in seeing who's behind it all, and who sent C Thomas Howell to get Jack.
Oh, and I noticed that last nights episode was co-written by John Shiban ("The X Files", "Supernatural"). I had no idea he was involved in this season. He had a co-producer credit too which I'd never noticed before.
