Happy Primeval Day!
Wow, so yesterday it was boiling and I could barely function the heat and today we get heavy rain and thunder and lightening! Awesome. Schizophrenic weather much? And we went on our summer outing at work today, typical. The kids weren't bothered by the rain, of course, and seemed to enjoy themselves anyway.
In non weather related news - I caught up on some TV last night. "Lie To Me" (3x08 "Smoked") was okay, I enjoyed the earlier seasons but I can see why it was cancelled in the end. It's just not what it was. I just hope something happens between Cal and Gillian by the end.
Then I watched "Nikita" - 1x13 "Coup De Grace" - which was good. Nikita is a total badass. Michael is starting to suspect Alex, isn't he? And the woman it was in "Supernatural" (remember that episode in season three with the changelings? She played the mother). It's taken me a couple of episode to get back into this show after the break that seemed like forever but I enjoyed this episode.
After those two I watched the last two episodes of "White Collar" season two. 2x15 "Power Play" was fun having Peter and Neal trading places for a little while - and it had Richard Schiff in it (I may have said "hey, Toby" when I saw him). I think Neal enjoyed flashing the FBI badge a little more than he'd admit. After that was the finale which was good but not as good as season ones - Loved them trying to defuse that bomb, especially when Neal was like "If this doesn't work, Peter, I.." - "I know, me too" (or whatever it was), awww. Peter saved his life but then accused him of stealing the treasure and blowing the place up. After all that trust they'd build up over the two seasons he accused him of that with no proof. Neal looked quite hurt "I've never lied to you, and I'm not lying about this" (or something). What does this mean for their friendship? Peter thinks Neal did it and now Neal has the treasure (did Alex do it) even though he wasn't the one who took it. Hmmm. I really hope their friendship can survive.
I almost went straight into season three but I think I'll wait a little while.
It's "Primeval" finale time tonight! I wonder how it's gonna end?
In non TV related news: I popped into the hair dressers on the way home and made an appointment for next Tuesday. I just need to decide what I want to get - I've got a couple of pictures saved.
