You need help! I Will pay for it!

I watched the latest episode of "Doctor Who" last night - 6x05 "The Rebel Flesh" - and I had no idea it was a two-parter so when it ended I was like "oh". It's always hard to comment on the first of a two-parter but I thought this episode was okay. Not stand out but not terrible. I think it was all just a build up to what's gonna happen in the next part.

There were loads of people I recognised in it - Chris from "Ashes to Ashes"/"Life on Mars", Susan from "Teachers", the dude from "Paradox" - I think I spent the whole episode saying "oh, it's him/her" every time a new character appeared on screen. Weird.

I'm looking forward to next weeks episode just to see the conclusion. It'll be interesting to see two Doctors!

After that I watched "Hawaii Five-0" - 1x17 "Powa Maka Moana" - which was cool again. This show is rapidly climbing up my favourite shows list and is officially now my favourite procedural. The characters are great and the team dynamic is awesome and was shown really well in this episode. And all four of the them totally kick arse! The bad guys don't stand a chance with these four around! They're totally badass but they're also smart.

The Steve and Danny scenes were cool as usual - Steve just drives Danny crazy all the time! It's great! Loved the grenade scene! That was brilliant and has to be one of the best scenes in this series so far (and there have been some great scenes), the way Danny first of all thought he was bluffing and then was freaking out and Steve was so calm was so funny! Even when Danny was screaming at him about how crazy he is Steve was just looking blankly. Hahaha! Oh, and the pawn store guy thinking Steve was the more rational one. Ha! And Steve keeps live grenades in Danny's glove box! All kinds of awesome.

Incidentally, I'd watched that scene online already but it was cooler on a TV screen and in the context of the episode.

I also liked the scene when they were pushing Steve's car from wherever they'd been. Oh, and Alex O'Loughlin dropped his phone but they left it in the scene. Neither him or Scott Caan really reacted. It was nice to see the kidnapping having an effect on Steve because of what had happened to his father. In fact, it's nice to see all of the team effected by the cases they're investigating. Shows that they're human.

I was spoiled for the ending - but even if I wasn't it was a bit obvious as Nick Lachey had only been in one scene and he was the main guest star. I was wondering if the girlfriend was involved though. I loved that Steve and co figured out she was involved, I did wonder when the kidnapper mentioned her by name though.

Oh, and I think I'm gonna use Danny's sign for *holds one hand over one eye* pirates again. It was cool.

Looking forward to next weeks, Danny's brother's gonna be in it so I'm hoping it's Danny-centric.

I think this show is taking over my icon space. I'm gonna have to edit my icons again in a minute.

After that I watched "Rookie Blue" which was the finale already - only 13 episodes of it - I really thought someone was gonna die and a couple of people came close. I would have been livid if they'd killed of Sam though as he's cool.
