I finally watched the latest episode of "Doctor Who" last night - 6x04 "The Doctor's Wife". It was pretty much a long love letter to the TARDIS, wasn't it? I liked it though and it answered the burning question I've always wanted to know the answer to - "what is the plural of TARDIS?". Because it's an acronym I've always been confused by it and never knew what to actually say when talking about more than one TARDIS. According to this episode it's pronounced Tardises so now I know.
Anyway, I liked the way the Doctor's connection to the TARDIS was explored. As Amy said in the episode, companions come and go but the TARDIS is the one constant in the Doctor's life. I felt sorry for the Doctor at the end because he looked so sad.
I liked the scenes between Amy and Rory when they were stuck in the TARDIS with the voice of House. That was creepy as hell and I was pretty impressed by Karen Gillan's acting in those scenes.
"The only water in the forest is the river" - that's gotta be about River Song, right?
Next weeks looks interesting. Was that Marshall Lancaster I spotted in the trailer?
Before that I watched "Chuck" - 4x18 "Chuck vs the A-Team" - which was quite good. I'm glad the wedding plans seem to have taken a back seat to actual storylines now. It's nice to see Stephen Bartowski's laptop make another appearance. How much longer can they go on keeping all this from Ellie? Surely she's gonna start to suspect soon. Interesting stuff with the other intersects and Casey too. He's always gonna be part of Team Bartowski, right? I'm actually quite looking forward to finding out where these storylines are gonna end up and I haven't though that about this show in a while.
In other news: I can't believe it's Friday again already. This week has flown by!!
ETA: N'aaww.
I minimised that, btw, the original was massive and is from
Alex O'Loughlin Rocks.
