Last nights "Sherlock" was different. I think I liked it though. It just seemed so different to how the original Holmes stories were (will be interesting to see what old Holmes fans think of it). It reminded me a lot of "Jonathan Creek" and "Doctor Who" - although I'm not sure if it actually reminded me of Who or if I just thought it did (or expected it to) because it's written by Steven Moffat. The actor playing Sherlock reminded me a lot of the Doctor too actually. And I loved his chemistry with Martin Freeman's John Watson (in a purely platonic way, of course).

I did find it annoying how slow they were during the scene with the taxi driver and the mobile phone tracker. For someone as clever as Sherlock is meant to be he was very slow on the uptake there. I was screaming at the screen for them to think! Lol!

I definitely enjoyed it though and will be watching the next two episodes anyway.

In other news: Mum and I went to Ikea in Wembley today - while we were walking towards there we saw a queue forming outside the Tesco next door. Turns out Jedward were doing a signing there! Lol! When I asked a girl what they were queuing for she squealed "JEDWARD!!". I was tempted to join the queue myself but you had to buy their album to go (according to a security guy I asked) and I decided that I'm too cheap to buy it. I don't really want it anyway. I would have gone to the signing if it wouldn't have cost me anything.

Also, my tattoo is completely healed now! Yay! The last bit of teeny tiny scab came off this morning. I'm really pleased with how it's healed! The colour's still look as vibrant too.

tv: sherlock, tattoo, music: jedward
