I watched the movie "Push" last night - I wanted to see it at the cinema when it first came out but it somehow managed to pass me by. I'm quite glad I didn't pay to see it actually as while it was okay it wasn't anything special. In fact, it kinda seemed like there must be a way better directors cut around somewhere. One that fills in so many gaps and makes the storyline flow so much better than it did.

Dakota Fanning and Chris Evans were good in it though. I like Chris Evans. I find him very watchable.

Incidentally he's in that movie "The Losers" - along with Jeffrey Dean Morgan. I wonder if there's gonna be a UK premiere of that?

After that I watched "The Vampire Diaries" which has definitely picked up - it's not perfect but I am enjoying it. I'm not taking to Elena though - I could understand her wanting to know everything about Stefan if they'd been together for ages but they barely even know each other! He doesn't know everything there is to know about her and he's not freaking out about it. Doesn't she think that he might need time to settle into the relationship before telling her everything? If they'd been together for longer it would make more sense. I dunno. I assume he's gonna tell her soon now anyway - she's practically figured it out now anyway.

I've also decided that I think Stefan is quite pretty.

I also watched the concluding part of the CSI: Trilogy - the Vegas one - and I have to say I found it quite disappointing. As is usual with CSI these days I think the NY part of the story was the best one.

ETA: Last night I found out a little bit of trivia to file under "when fandoms collide". I was looking up Jayma Mays (who plays Emma in "Glee" and was also in "Heroes") - mainly because I've been trying to place her accent and wanted to find out where she's from - and it turns out she's married to Adam Campbell, who played Cal in "Harper's Island".

Okay so maybe "fandoms" is over stating it a bit but "when shows I watch collide" doesn't sound as good.

movies: general, tv: csi, tv: the vampire diaries, fandoms collide
