There's something 'bout the way the street looks when it's just rained
First of all, Happy Belated Birthday faydako (sorry I forgot to post about it before).
Second of all, my "Primeval" celebratory bracelet and charms arrived today (quite good delivery time, I thought) and they're much nicer in reality! The dino charm (it's a brontosaurus, btw) is really cute and just the right size and the anomaly coloured stones are perfect (they're called sunburst treasure charms, I think, so the centre of them looks like an anomaly!)! Very pleased with my purchase and have the urge to order an X Files themed one (they do flashlight charms and UFO charms!) and a Mary Winchester one soon! Incidentally, they're from here.
Third of all, Mum and I hit the shops today and as I was in the mood for spending money (it doesn't happen very often to make a note of the date!)
I'm actually in love with this coat! I saw it and just had to have it - I've always thought duffel coats were pretty cool (hey, Jonathan Creek has one!) and when I saw it in pink I just had to have it in my life - plus it's quite a thin coat, I wouldn't have got it if it was too thick as it never gets that cold here. It was £26something (label says £27 but they took a bit off because of the VAT thingy) in Primark and I didn't need it but had to have it! I wonman looking at them at the same time as me said if she got the pink one she'd look like Barbie! Lol! They do them in blue and a mustardy yellow too, btw.
It looks nicer in real life.
A litte sparkly make up bag thing also from Primark. £2.50. I just like it.
Pink scarf also from Primark. £2.
And some basic brown tights from Primark. £2.50. I don't normally wear tights but thought they'd look quite nice with my denim skirt.
Oh, and this bag just because I liked the design on it. £can't remember.
I don't usually buy much from Primark but I think I made up for it today.
Some more PJs from La Senza. I was looking at these before when they full price but wasn't about to spend £22 on PJs. They're half price now so £11, still more than I'd usually pay but I really like them.
Finally, this denim skirt from H&M at £14.99 it's more than I'd usually pay for a skirt but I liked it and it's exactly the kind skirt I'd been looking for. A slightly darker blue than the one I already have a slightly longer too. Really pleased with it.
I'm gonna go and put my charms on the bracelet now. Might post a picture of it later.
