First of all I obviouskly need to talk about that early scene between Jack and Chloe.

Chloe: Why didn't you tell me you were sick?
Jack: It doesn't matter.
Chloe: It doesn't matter? I'm your friend.
Jack: We need to stay focused on finding Tony.
Chloe: Jack, you should be in the hospital.
Jack: There's no treatment for this. There's no cure.
Chloe: So you're telling me you're dying?
Jack: Yes.
Chloe: How long?
Jack: A day, maybe two. I've been taking this anti-seizure medicine to keep me on my feet. It's been working so far.
Chloe: Oh, my god. I'm so sorry.
Jack: Chloe, it's all right. I've accepted it and I need you to accept it, too. Whatever time I've got left, I want it to matter. We need to find Tony, put an end to this. Chloe... I can't do this without you. Please, I need you to go back to work.
Chloe: Okay

Man, it scenes like this that remind me why I'm a Jack/Chloe shipper in the first place. I mean, I know nothing's ever gonna happen but scenes like that remind my why that doesn't matter to me. They also make me wonder how the producers of the show can say there's nothing there. Why would they give us scenes like that if there's nothing there? I don't get that. Maybe in the writing there's nothing there but in the acting there definitely is. I'm sure I read somewhere once that Mary-Lynn said she played Chloe like she was in love with Jack. Maybe that's where it's from?

Loved the scene though, it was just so damn cute! The best part about it for me was that Jack held her hand first. He doesn't usually do things like that so it meant a lot. Well, to me anyway. It was a shame that Chloe had to hear the fact that he's sick from someone else but I'm glad Jack was the one to tell her that there was no cure. Chloe's reaction was perfectly in character too. Weirdly enough she actually seemed more upset than Kim did - although was Kim told by Renee over the phone? Her reaction to being told might have been much more emotional than we saw on screen. I also liked how Chloe just sucked it up and went back to work because Jack asked her too.

I love these two together and I actually think that the fact that scenes between them are few and far between make their scenes together all the more enjoyable.

Anyway, onto the rest of the episdoe: for the first time this season I actually felt kinda sorry for Olivia. When she found out what had happened to Jonas Hodges she seemed genuinely surprised and upset (although more about what could happen to her if this came out than anything else). She thought she'd called it all off but she didn't actually phone up the dude to tell him not to do it. If he went ahead and did it anyway surely she owes him quite a lot of money now. And that's not a good place to be in. I also think that Aaron Pierce is gonna find out what she's done. It was a bit stupid of her to use the computers at The White House though, wasn't it? Surely that can be traced or something? Wouldn't look too good for the administration. I still think President Taylor is gonna flip out when she finds out even if Olivia decided she didn't want to do it.

Oh, and I totally didn't see the it coming that the car was gonna blow up. I actually thought the driver was gonna shoot him so when the car blew up I was like "WTF?!".

I couldn't believe it took them as long as it did to realise that the poor dude is being set up. Good on Chloe, of course, for finding that all out. Nice scene of Jack apologising to that dude too. I feel so sorry for that poor dude who's being set up, I can't believe Tony would do that to a completely innoncent person. Although, Tony's done a lot of things this season that I wouldn't have thought him capable of before now. He's so evil!

I can't believe there's only 3 more episodes left now. I have a feeling that this season is gonna end with not knowing if Jack is gonna be okay or not. With only three hours left now it doesn't seem like enough time for Kim to come back, for him to have the treatment and then see how successful it is before the end. We'll soon see, of course. But there doesn't seem to be enough time for any closure on the "Jack's dying" part of the storyline.

Before that I watched the two "Heroes" episodes that were on BBC2. The first up - "I Am Sylar" - was an interesting Sylar-centric one. For some reason I always find myself feeling sorry for Sylar during these episodes. I always think that if people had treated him differently when he was younger he just wouldn't have turned out the way he did. Somewhere underneath all that there was a good person once. The second episode - "An Invisible Thread" - was pretty good. Some interesting Hiro stuff - I hope he's gonna be okay - and some really sweet Hiro/Ando friendship stuff. They're one of the best relationships on the show, I think. They're always gonna be there for each other no matter what. They're best friends, and that's what friends do. Together they stronger than when they're apart.

The Nathan and Sylar stuff was obviously the most important stuff in the final episode and judging by the beginning of Volume Five it didn't go as smoothly as everyone thought. I also have a feeling that Matt isn't gonna be able to keep it to himself for too long.

I wasn't a big fan of the Matt and his wife stuff - it wasn't that long ago that he thought him and Daphne were forever and now he wants to be with his wife again? Make your mind up, Parkman!

Oh, I Sky+ed "Ashes to Ashes" and will watch it tonight. Or tomorrow.
