So we headed into Watford today so
nicky_disaster could look for a prom dress again. And guess what? After trying on loads of dresses in TKMaxx we were looking in the sale section and bought a really nice grey-y/silver coloured one for £1. Yes, that's right, £1! We couldn't believe it either. She couldn't be bothered to try it on so we just got it. She tried in on just now and it looks amazing!
I've no idea why it was reduced so much but we're not gonna complain!
Leather gloves in Primark £3 in the sale. I bought a pair a of pewter ones a while ago when they were full price at £8. I also got another pair of pewter ones in Harrow the other day because they were only £3. I wear them every winter so I might as well get them when they're cheap. They're pinker than the picture suggests, btw.
Atticus hoodie. TKMaxx £4 in the sale. Not as bargainous as Nicky's dress but still a good price. It's so soft and snug. I love the bird on the sleeve, btw.
Blue Barry M mascara. £4.95 in Superdrug.
Miss Sixty Jeans. £3.99 in the charity shop. Jeans from Miss Sixty are usually really expensive, aren't they? Anyway, these look new and they're a really good fit and length. They don't photo well though.
Some novels from the charity shop - £1.50 each. That Elizabeth George one is a Lynley Mystery (the one I watched on TV the other night, incidentally) and the other is Wire in the Blood. I wanna give them a read and to if they're like the shows.
Hoodie in H&M. £7.49 in their "half price for today only" thing. I nearly bought it before but didn't so thought I'd get it for half price.
Little bag £1 in the charity shop up the road - I bought it before we even got to Watford! I don't usually use bags but I thought it was pretty and only £1!
Fantastic Four poster - £2 in a random shop down Watford High St. I think it's cool. Gonna have to find somewhere to put it now.
I also got a couple of standard bras from M&S using my gift card thing from work. Not gonna post pics of my underwear though.
Anyway, I'm gonna go and have dinner and a bath before "Primeval" and "ER".
