The new kitties still don't have names - but they have settled in pretty well already. He's definitely a people cat and can't seem to decide who he wants to sit on the most. She's more quiet than he is but she's still friendly.
I've watched a few more shows since my previous post:
"Lucifer" - 2x03 - I thought this episode was pretty good. I ended up enjoying last season way more than I thought I would and this season has started really well. The story about Lucifer's mother seems quite interesting and the cases seem interesting enough too. I really want Lucifer to convide in Chloe a bit more though as it bothers me that she has no idea what's really going on with him. I wish she could support him through his mother drama. I wonder if she'll ever know?
"Scorpion" - 3x03 - while I thought the premise of this episode was a bit silly it did actually lead to some really good moments between the team. I just find this show generally enjoyable and all of the characters are likeable. I can't really think of anything to really say about it though.
"Supergirl" - 2x01 - it was good having this show back again and I thought it started pretty well. There didn't seem to be too many big changes that came from the change of networks. I thought the introduction of Superman was quite good and I enjoyed Tyler Hoechlin in the role, it'll be nice seeing him again in future episodes. I thought the "new" DEO (that had been there all along apparently) looke quite cool on screen. I assume they're gonna be using that this season. I couldn't really remember why Kara wasn't Cat's assistant anymore but I quite liked her trying to find her vocation. I think it'll be interesting if she becomes a reporter full time (is that part of the character in the comics?). I did think the end (so it seemed) of the James and Kara relationship was quite abrupt but I've never really been a massive fan of them together (or of this version of Jimmy on his own really) so I'm not upset about it. I wonder what they'll do with his character though? Now he's not the love interest they'll have to find something else for him - I've heard something about him being a superhero too? I wonder how that might go? Oh, and I thought Winn was cute when he was star struck about Superman.
Oh, also, Chris Wood's character? What's that about? Is he a good guy?
"Conviction" - 1x02 - I enjoyed this second episode and thought the case of the week was a good one. I do wonder though how the formula is gonna work without getting repeatitive. Are we gonna have some cases where they actually prove that the person actually did it? They're not the innocent project (as they keep saying) so they're not taking on cases where they think the people in prison are actually innocent. They're just checking that the convictions are sound. we're only two episodes in and I'm interested enough but can this premise last for a whole season?
I thought the characters were interesting in this episode too - they all have their own subplots and I'm looking forward to finding out more about them all.
"The Flash" - 3x02 - I thought this episode was quite good (I kinda wanted Felicity to not know who Barry was because of the changed timeline though - that would have been cool) and I felt sorry for Barry because he knew that if he tried to fix things again he would probably just make things worse (again). He had good intentions but I guess after his talk with the other Flash (great Dawson's Creek reference, btw) he knew that he'd made a mistake and that he couldn't try and change things again so they're stuck with this timeline then. I wonder what other things might be different that he doesn't know about yet? I thought the introduction to Tom Felton's character was quite interesting - I wonder why he doesn't trust Barry? I wonder if they'll become friends? Is he a good guy?
Where was Harrison Wells? I don't remember what happened between him and his daughter last season. Did they go back to Earth 2?
