TV update
I haven't posted in a while but I'm back now. Since my previous post we walked some more of the Central line - on Saturday we did Epping to Wanstead which ended up being quite a nice walk, even though it did rain for the first couple of hours. We walked about 22 miles and we should be able to complete the line (and the whole Underground) in one more day which we'll probably do next weekend (weather permitting).
In other news: the new TV season has kicked off with lots of shows coming back this week (unfortunately I haven't been able to watch all of them yet).
"Hawaii Five-0" - 7x02 - I don't think it was the shows fault but I was really tired during this and I think I may even have drifted off a few times because I missed some important things. I thought it was a generally okay episode - what I saw of it! I should probably watch it again at some point.
"MacGyver" - 1x02 - I thought this 2nd episode was quite a lot better that the 1st and I enjoyed it. I really like the relationships between all the characters - especially MacGyver and George Eads' character (name?). I'm looking forward to seeing where things go from here. This episode did pretty well in the ratings still so maybe it doesn't have cancelled written all over it after all.
"Quantico" - 2x02 - I thought this episode was quite good. I was almost tempted not to even watch the 2nd season of this show but now I've started I feel like I've got to stick it out to find out what's going on. I'm thinking at the moment that the seige/terrorist situation is like a CIA training excersize or something. Although it probably isn't. I do think this season has started well though and I'm intrigued.
"Lucifer" - 2x02 - I thought this episode was pretty good and I'm interested in the relationship between Lucifer and his mother. I assume it's gonna be a big part of this season going forward? I really wish that he could share this stuff with Chloe though as I really like their relationship and the fact that he can't share this with her is gonna be difficult.
"The Flash" - 3x01 - I enjoyed this epening episode. I thought the alternate timeline was quite interesting (and how Back to the Future was the scene with Barry explaining to the others about the new timeline?, I was slightly disappointed that "flashpoint" seems to be over already. The fact that Barry had to change things back was quite sad though. But what's he done now? And is he gonna be able to change things back again? Will things ever be back to so called normal? I'm looking forward to seeing where things go from here.
Oh, and how cute was Barry during the scenes with Iris? Awww.
