Someone better be dead. Wait....is someone dead?
Yesterday Mum and I went to Southampton for the day - we only went there because we could get there and back for £2 using the Mega Train side of Megabus. It was quite nice wandering around somewhere different, especially when we found out about a little beachy bit which we walked to. I do think that we had too much time there though and maybe should have booked an earlier return train (although I think at the time of booking the one we went for was the cheapest). I think all in all, the whole day out cost me less than a tenner and that includes the train fair to Waterloo (where we picked up the train from). That's not bad, is it? I took some pictures that are on my instagram.
Next week we're going to Portsmouth for the day (again using Mega Train) so I'm looking forward to that.
In TV news: I watched a couple of shows on Wednesday night (honestly, there's not that much on at the moment. Typical summer schedule really).
"Containment" - 1x12 - I had this down in my calendar as the series finale but there's another episode next week. I'm assuming that might be the finale? Are there 13 episodes in total? I thought this was a decent episode though. I think the stuff Lex is investigating is quite interesting. I'm still surprised they did what they did though - I really thought that things would fix themselves in this episode but they didn't (I wonder if this show is following the original closely?) and this episode was quite sad. I'm interested in seeing how things go from here - if there is only one episode left then there's lots left to do, I think.
"Scream" - 2x07 - I thought this episode was a pretty good one. The psych teacher was one of my main suspects but I guess she isn't now and the killer was using her to trap Audrey? Or would have if the janitor hadn't been around? I wonder what he wants with Audrey? Does he (or she) want everyone to know about Audrey's involvement with Piper or is there more to it? You know, the more I think about it the more I'm liking Emma as a suspect - I think it would be pretty cool and she did know that the teacher was at the school, didn't she? Where was she when that all went down? Was she still at work? I think they're showing Eli being creepy as a smokescreen. He's definitely disturbed (Goldilocksing? Really?) but I think it's too obvious to think he's a suspect. Kieran is looking mighty dodgy though. Hmm. I don't know. At this point the only people I don't suspect are Audrey and Noah but I probably wouldn't even be that surprised if it was one of them. Everybody's a suspect, remember?
There's definitely some stuff going on between Emma's mum and the sheriff but I'm not sure what. Is it something from their past? Oh, and I want to like Zoe but I'm not sure - I'm assuming she sent that Audrey sound file to herself (as she emailed from Noah's account?) but what's she gonna do with it? Her and Audrey obviously don't get on for whatever reason so maybe she just wants to keep Audrey away from Noah? Or something?
And that model house Eli took Emma to? What's that all about and why did the killer put Branson there? Things are getting really interesting this season.
I also rewatched "New Blood" case 2 (parts 1 and 2) - enjoyed it again the second time but don't think it's quite as good case 1. I really need a series two. I also really need some good hurt/comfort fanfic - there's only a few fanfics out there for the show and they're all sexy and romantic which is not really what I'm after.
Oh, and "Suits" returned to US TV on Wednesday night - I didn't get chance to watch it last night though (because we didn't get back til late) and I'm going out tonight. I'll probably watch it on Saturday night.
