Hmm, I haven't posted in a while so now seems like a good time to do an update.
I've been suffering with a real bitch of a cold for half of this week - I even had to leave work early yesterday which I never usually do because I felt so rough. I just don't have the energy to do anything right now. Which is annoying.
In other news: I've been watching some of my shows this week (some of then haven't been on for some reason):
On Tuesday I watched: "Blindspot" - 1x11 - so this show came back after the Christmas break (that seemed to last for ages). I thought this episode was okay but there still seems like there's something missing but I don't know what. Something isn't working for me. I am still interested in what's going on with Jane though and how she ended up the way she is. And can everyone she's working with be trusted?
Supergirl 1x15 - I thought this episode was quite good as usual. I wonder if James will pursue something more with Kara now him and Lucy seemed to be done? Obviously he likes her and the only thing really holding him back from doing anything about it was his loyalty to Lucy. If something does happen between them now then that's gonna make for a really awkward working environment, isn't it?
I'm glad Alex told Kara what really happened to Astra because keeping a secret from her was very difficult. I thought it was nice that Kara seemed to understand though and hugged her. I wonder if there will still be some fall out from that in the next episode?
And now that new assistant is interested in Winn now? I wonder if that will go anywhere in future episodes? And how will Kara react?
On Wednesday I watched "How To Get Away With Murder" - 2x11 - this show gets more confusing as it goes on, doesn't it? Now we've got hallucinations as well as flashbacks? Seriously?
Then on Thursday I watched
Suits 5x16 (season finale) - this episode seemed very final and this so could have been a show finale proper because it did seem very final with Mike going to jail for his crime. I felt sorry for him when he found out that the jury were gonna find him not guilty and he should have had faith in himself but he didn't.
I also felt bad for Harvey because even though he wanted to he couldn't take the blame for everything and go to jail Mike's place. That scene when him and Mike had their show down was very intense and very well acted.
I was kinda glad that Mike and Rachel didn't get married - as much as they want to be together I think Mike knew that Rachel's dad was right and that she would find it difficult to get her law degree if she's married to a felon. I wonder if she will wait or will life get in the way?
And Pearson Specter Litt is a ghost town - everyone has left and they now need to rebuild from scratch all over again. I wonder how that's gonna go?
I think it's kind of good that their lies have come back to bite them - I think they always thought they were untouchable and that could get out of any situation. I think it kind of good that they're not and now they know that.
I am now wondering how season 6 is gonna go - are we gonna have a time jump and pick things up when Mike's gets out prison or what? I'm intrigued. I still think this would have been a great show finale though.
Teen Wolf 5x19 - I think this season has been a bit all over the place and this episode didn't really fix that for me.
They no know Mason is the Beast but what's gonna happen to him? Is he gone now or can they still get him back? I there even a way to kill the Beast but not him?
And what's gonna happen with Malia and her mother - is Stiles in danger again? She better not hurt him.
I can't think of anything else to say about this episode to be honest. It's the finale next week.
and "Lucifer" - 1x06 - I'm quite enjoying this show even though I'm still not entirely sure about it. I think the characters and their interactions are enough for me at the moment. The cases of the week are okay but for me the show is all about Lucifer and Chloe.
Then last night I watched: "Castle" - 8x13 - I thought this episode was okay but was almost offended by their depiction of someone from Newcastle (and I'm not even from there!). Really? I'm glad it seems like they might be addressing Castle's missing time again soon though because I thought they'd forgotten about that.
I watched the first episode of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" - I thought this episode was okay for a first episode but I don't think it's as good as "Arrow" or "Flash" (or "Supergirl") but I guess we'll see. I hope things improve as things go on - there does seem to be too many characters though but maybe things will settle down a bit.
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend 1x13 - I thought this episode was another good one. The second half of this season has been very strong.
I am worried about how things are gonna progress for Rebecca and Josh though. He has a pretty serious girlfriend in Valencia and I can't see him giving that up just like that so Rebecca might end up getting hurt again. And even if he does break things off with Valencia how will Rebecca feel knowing she practically broke them up - and that he kissed her while he was in a committed relationship with someone else. I don't think I can see this ending well.
I thought it was interesting that Greg finally admitted his feelings for Rebecca though - obviously he didn't get chance to tell her but he admitted it to himself which is the first step I guess. I think it's been obvious from the beginning of the show that he likes her anyway. I also liked the way Heather reacted to it all, and she wasn't prepared to let him settle for her. I wonder what Greg will do now?
I thought the stuff between Darryl and White Josh was cute again. I really like what they've done with those two in this show.
Oh, and that Trent dude was weird but it was kinda fun seeing Rebecca being on the other side of an obsessive person.
