I watched "The X Factor" last night - it was a bit of a car crash which the whole season has really but I was glad Reggie and Bollie made it through to tonights proper final final. The fact that a so called "novelty act" has made it to the final two just shows how poor the quality has been this year (there have been some great novelty acts before but they've never got this far). Realistically, Louisa will probably win but I would love for Reggie and Bollie to take it. I have been voting for them via the app over the past few weeks (even when I haven't actually be watching the live shows). At least they're interesting to watch, everyone else is boring. I felt kinda sorry for Che last night - for a 19 year old he's always seemed really dated to me and having him duet with Rod Stewart (on an old Rod song) really didn't help with that all and it wasn't really a surprise that he went out.
Anyway, I've used up all five app votes on Reggie and Bollie.
On Friday night I watched "Haven" - 5x24 - I thought this episode was quite a good one, although a little confusing in places (and it didn't hold my attention as well as it usually does). I thought the scenes between Nathan and Duke were good - if anyone can get Duke back I think it's Nathan and I really hope he succeeds. William Shatner was suitably creepy in his scenes with Audrey too
Now there's only two episodes left - and they're both airing next week. I thought I had two weeks to go and now it's only one. While I think it's probably time for the show to end I don't think I'm ready for it to end. I thought I had two weeks!
I also watched "Sleepy Hollow" - 3x05 - and the "Bones" episode that goes with it - 11x05. I thought they were okay episodes but I don't like it when they do crossovers and the story's not really a crossover. It just doesn't really work for me. I also don't like the idea that "Bones" now exists in the same universe as a place where supernatural stuff happens regularly. "Bones" has always had a "set in the real world" feel but now they've connected it to a fantasy type show that's changed. I don't know I feel about that.
Last night I also watched "Hawaii Five-0" - 6x10 - I thought this episdoe was okay but this show isn't really doing it for me this season and I don't really know why. I thought the case of the week was good enough and the team interactions were good but it just seems like there's something missing but I don't know what. I can't really take to the Adam and Kono stuff either for some reason. And while I felt sorry for Kono at the end, Adam kind of brought this all on himself.
