So, it was a shocking (yet somehow predictable) result on "The X Factor" last night. As soon as Seann was in the bottom three I think we all knew how it was gonna go. He was the best one there though, all the others are boring or just plain bad. I'm not even sure if I'm gonna bother to watch it next week now. The show has been poor all series but it's gonna be worse now.
On Saturday night I watched:
"Hawaii Five-0" - 6x07 - I thought this episode was quite good. Steve's new love interest (is it Lynn?) seems like a good character but I think their date needed a bit more build up though. I think she should have appeared in a previous episode before this one. I just think that would have worked better. I did like that they managed to stumble into a case again. Steve can't go anywhere, can he? I wonder if we'll see her again soon? The fandom seems to like her (although they liked Catherine at first and look how that turned out).
I thought the Chin, Kono and Grover stuff was quite good too and I liked them helping that kid out and saving the day, of course.
This was yet another episode without any Danny scenes (or mentions) at all. I'm actually getting quite sick of it, to be honest. I remember saying this a while ago and I still think it. If Scott Caan doesn't want to be in the show anymore, or can't commit to it completely then why don't they just let him go? His erratic appearances are detrimental to the show, in my opinion. It was bad enough in the past couple of seasons but it seems to be getting worse now.
Last night I watched "Doctor Who" - 9x08 - I thought this episode was okay but it didn't really hold my attention and, as such, it didn't make that much sense to me (I think I missed some important things). I thought the Doctor's big speech at the end was good though. I just haven't been feeling it this season (series. Whatever). I've heard that it's more like Old Who than previous seasons (series. Whatever) of New Who so maybe that's why? I was never a fan of the older shows.
I was also quite surprised that the BBC showed the plane being shot down and the consequent crash site though. I thought they might have postponed the episode because of recent news (they've done it before for other real life incidents).
