Happy Back to the Future Day!!

It's kind of a shame that I'm going out tonight (got another quiz) otherwise I would celebrate it, probably by watching it again! It's weird to think that from tomorrow "Back to the Future Part 2" will be set in the past.

In other news: I had a busy TV schedule last night:

"Blindspot" - 1x05 - I thought this episode was another good one but this show hasn't reached the unmissable point for me yet which is a little bit disappointing. There's enough interesting stuff for me to continue watching (the fact that Jane has all this information or her is too interesting to ignore and then you've got the CIA and FBI stuff) but I'm enjoying other shows more. I think the chemistry between Jane and Weller is good enough to hold the show together but it's not brilliant.

"Castle"- 8x05 - I thought this episode was quite a good one. I enjoyed the interactions between Castle and the woman with the highened sense of smell (what was her name again?) and I thought the Ryan and Esposito stuff was quite good. However, the show seems to have fallen back into the habit of making the first person they interview the killer and that just makes the investigation quite boring.

"Minority Report" - 1x05 - I'm still really enjoying this show (even though I know it's not gonna last. I think we're only gonna get ten episodes anyway) and I thought this episode was good. I think Dash is really cute and I love how he is with Vega (when he gave her the flowers for her birthday? Awww) but I also think the scenes with Dash's brother are interesting. Maybe they can change what Agatha has seen (I'm not sure if I trust her anyway)? I'm gonna enjoy this show while it lasts.

"NCIS: Los Angeles" - 7x05 - I thought this episode was quite good. The case was interesting and the inclusion of DiNozzo from "NCIS" original made things fun. I especially liked his scenes with Deeks as they seemed quite similar (even if they don't think so). Their Knight Rider reference was cute. I also enjoyed the scenes between Nell and Eric. Are they like a couple now? They seem really couple-y.

"Chicago Fire" - 3x18 - I assume this episode was the "backdoor pilot" for new spin off "Chicago Med"? I don't normally like "backdoor pilots" but I thought this really worked. The characters in the hospital seem interesting enough and the storyline of this episode was good. I might be tempted to check out "Chicago Med" although I've given up on "Chicago PD" - really couldn't get into season 2.

"The Vampire Diaries" - 7x02 - I can honestly say that I have no idea what's going on this season. I know where only two episodes in but it's all over the place! There's too many new characters and I don't think the time jumps are working (well, they didn't in this episode anyway)

movies: general, tv: chicago fire, tv: the vampire diaries, tv: minority report, tv: ncis: los angeles, tv: castle, tv: blindspot
