The truth is still out there.
So, I've watched a few more shows since my last post - including a couple of new ones:
"The Player" - 1x01 - when this episode first started I wasn't really sure about it but as it went on I started to enjoy it. It seems pretty fun and action packed. I'll definitely watch a few more before forming an opinion.
"Quantico" - 1x01 - this pilot was nothing like I was expecting but I really enjoyed it. It was very flashbacky but I think it worked and I like how every seemed suspect. I'm interested in seeing where things go from here. I'm also looking forward to seeing Rick Cosnett in it from the next episode.
Then last night, which is currently my busiest TV night (I think Tuesday nearly always ends up being a busy night), I watched:
"Blindspot" - 1x02 - I think this show is good but something just isn't clicking for me and I'm not entirely sure what it is. I like the way her tattoos are giving them clues to cases for them to solve (although I could see that getting a bit repetitive) and I liked Kurt's theory about who Jane could really be - some nice insights into his character as well.
"Castle" - 8x02 - I thought this episdoe was quite good and it was nice to find out what Beckett was doing last week. I assume Beckett isn't gonna let this go now (that's how her character is) and while I was quite surprised by the ending of this episode I can't help but think it might be good for the show. I've been waiting for them to shake things up for a while and, while it isn't quite what I meant, I'm glad they've done something. These first two episodes have been more interesting than the whole of last season.
"Minority Report" - 1x02 - I didn't think this episode was quite as good as the first one but I still enjoyed it. I thought the case was quite good and I liked the scene between him and the multicoloured haired girl. They seem like they could be quite sweet together. While I'm enjoying this show I don't want to get too attached because with ratings the way they are I don't think it's gonna be on for very long.
"NCIS: Los Angeles" - 7x02 - I thought this episode was quite good. I liked that it was a standalone type of episode (I get bored and quite confused when they do the two-parters). All the dynamics were good and I liked the scenes between Kensi and Deeks. I think they seem to be doing quite well at this whole dating while working together thing so far. Ratings wise this show hasn't started out brilliantly either. I won't be that surprised if it ends up in trouble by May.
I usually watch "Chicago Fire" on Tuesday nights too but I was quite tired after those four so I went to bed. I'll try and watch it tonight.
