I thought I'd just do a quick update - as I'm not doing anything else right now.
Since my last post I've only watched a few things:
"Humans" - 1x07 - I think this show has got pretty good over recent episodes. I'm not loving it but I am liking it quite a bit. I think things have got more interesting since Mia has come back - and her friends are with her family and the family are helping them. Incidentally, I really like the scenes between Leo and Matty. I almost want to ship them but the age difference is worrying - how old is he supposed to be anyway? I think he actually trusts her which is something he doesn't normally do so I like that anyway. With only one episode to go now I'm wondering how things are gonna end? It has been renewed for a second series apparently so I wonder if it'll end a bit up in the air?
"Rookie Blue" - 6x03 - I thought this episode was quite good. I thought the prison storyline was pretty decent. What is the new girls deal though? Is she internal affairs? Who is she investigating then? Or is the whole team? I'm interested in seeing where that goes because I think she might end up getting close to some of them which is obviously gonna create some drama when they realise what she's really up to. I like that Sam and Andy want to be together during the whole baby thing but I don't think it's gonna work out how they expect. Like I said, I like that they're being adults about it but I don't think it's gonna be easy.
I haven't got around to watching the latest "Graceland" yet - I started watching it the other night but was too tired to give it my full attention (something that I'm finding quite difficult these days anyway) so had to turn it off. I'll try and watch it again at some point.
Last night I watched "Insurgent" - I'd see the first movie a while ago so thought I should watch this sequel. To be honest, I only watched this for Jai Courtney but he was barely in it (so, disappointed). I thought it was okay but probably not as good as the first one (incidentally, I keep getting them in the wrong order and thinking "Divergent" is the 2nd one).
In other movie news: "Jurassic World" has officially become the 3rd highest grossing movie of all time (not counting for inflation. There's different figures for that) which is pretty cool as it is a great summer movie. Also, the sequel has been confirmed and announced for June 22nd 2018 (that's ages away!). I think it was inevitable really given how successful this one has been. I'm glad both Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are coming back and I'm wondering what the storyline is gonna be. Where can things go from here?
