So, it's April the 1st which means I won't believe anything I read until tomorrow. Because you never know and the internet is the worst when it comes to April Fools!
In other news: I'm off work at the moment for the Easter break - which means two weeks off - I I must have really needed it because on Monday morning I didn't wake up til like 10am! Good job it wasn't a work day then! Well, I did wake up earlier than that but then I went back to sleep again. I think the clocks changing affected my tiredness too.
In TV news: last night was a fairly busy TV night for me. First up was "Castle" - 7x19 - I thought this episode was okay but, as has become habit for this show, nothing really special. The case of the week was interesting enough and I quite liked the subplot of the talent show thing and Ryan and Esposito's dance moves were fun. Still holding out for an epic, game changing, episode.
Next was "NCIS: Los Angeles" - 6x19 - again I thought this episode was okay but nothing really special either. The case of the week was quite good but when it's tech-y stuff I'm never sure how accurate that stuff is. I thought the Eric stuff was quite good though and the scenes between him and Nell were nice. I thought we might get some more Deeks stuff this week, to follow on from the hints we got last week, but unfortunately not this week. Maybe next week?
Then it was
The Following 3x06
I thought this episode was quite good but I'm not entirely sure where the show is going from here - Straus is dead now so there goes their lead, right? The introduction to the new bad guy, Ghost, was pretty interesting and it's good seeing Michael Ealy on my screen again (I really miss "Common Law". Just saying). I'm intrigued by where that might go.
I quite liked the deputy sheriff of Beacon, I wonder if we'll see her again or if that's it for the Beacon storyline?
So, Max's boyfriend is still using that surveillance equipment to watch her - that's just not gonna end well for anyone, is it? Now he's heard her say that she covered up for Mike. What's he gonna do with that information? I just think he's gonna cause a whole lot of trouble for everyone as the season continues.
And Daisy got away, where will her storyline go from here?
Oh, and I still don't trust Ryan's new girlfriend. There's just something up with her.
Then I watched "Elementary" - 3x15 - I thought this episode was okay. I thought the case of the week was interesting and I kinda like that we, the audience, knew who the killer was right from the beginning. I thought she was stupid to involve herself in the investigation like that though - I don't think anyone had even considered her as a suspect before then - but I guess she needed the money fast and that was the only way she'd get it.
I thought the scenes between Sherlock and Joan were quite good though - I liked that he wanted her to know that her options were still open and he didn't want her to regret giving up her apartment in the long run. I also liked the solution of her having the basement as her own little place though. That was quite nice. I really like the relationship they have and I'm looking forward to more now she's back at the brownstone.
Finally for Tuesday night was "The 100" - 2x14 - I thought this episode was quite good and the fall out from the missile attack was handled quite well. I liked that the soldiers came to help at the end. Maybe their alliance can be a good one?
I thought the stuff at Mount Weather was good and I'm really enjoying Bellamy this season. I liked the way Maya included her Dad in everything and they've now formed a rebel group within Mount Weather that don't agree with what the president dude is doing. I hope it doesn't take Clarke and co too long to rescue them all.
