I watched "The Voice UK" as usual last night - unfortunately there wasn't enough Ricky but then they weren't focused on his team so it was to be expected, tonights will be better, I'm sure. I don't think Will and Rita made any really bad decisions regarding their teams last night though - Will had to put Lucy through. It's not my kind of music but she's so talented so it couldn't really have gone any other way. I thought Sheena was okay and I'm super glad he put Vikesh though. I like him - I'm wondering if Ricky is regretting letting him go now but maybe that was his plan all along. Team Ricky is so strong maybe Vikesh wouldn't have made it through to the lives if he was still on Team Ricky? I was quite glad Esme didn't make it through - it was almost like she thought she had it in the bag. I think Will made the right choice anyway.
I thought Rita did okay in her first knockouts - I've never really rated Joe before but I thought his performance here was pretty good. I did think it was slightly unfair that she put Clark through based on previous performances and not the one on the night but Rita obviously likes him and sees something in him. Hopefully he can prove her right. Rita obviously likes that Karis girl too - she is good but I'm not sure if I actually like the sound of her voice.
Anyway,n it's time for Team Ricky and Team Tom tonight. I'm looking forward to it.

No Danny again this week? This is getting almost ridiculous now. I would love to see Scott Caan's contract for this show because it must be pretty amazing if he's allowed to go off and do other things as often as this. I love Danny (and, by association, Scott) but this is actually starting to annoy me now. For someone who's supposed to be the shows joint lead he's hardly ever there these days and I don't think it's helping the show at all.
Other than that I quite enjoyed this episode - I thought the storyline about Steve in the barbers shop was quite good and as the show went off I did start to wonder if that Aaron dude had been playing them all along. They did just take what he said as truth and that was worrying. I thought the real identity of Aaron was pretty interesting though and I didn't see that coming - I thought he might be a drug runner or general bad guy but I didn't think he was a child killer. Why didn't his father just turn him over to the please instead of getting his hard men to kill him - he had all that evidence, all he needed to do was phone in an anonymous tip. I'm sure that would have been easier.
I like seeing Steve's reaction to the whole situation though - from being shut in that barber's shop to figuring out what was really going on. The final scene when he found the evidence was heartbreaking.
I thought the Jerry subplot was okay - it was good seeing Chin, Grover and Kono trying to solve the case so they could help Jerry. That was sweet.
With only a handful of episodes left now (maybe ever) I just hope Danny's in them.
Last night I also watched "12 Monkeys" - 1x03 - I thought this episode was good and I'm liking all the timey wimey stuff and how Cole needs to jump into Cassie's timeline. I think it's pretty clever but does mean I need to pay attention.
On Friday night I watched
TVD 6x16
I don't know how I feel about this episode - I hope Stefan hasn't really turned it off because I don't think I want to watch humanity free Stefan again (even though it does give Paul Wesley some good stuff to work with) and I'm not sure about the reasonings for him doing it anyway. Someone on twitter mentioned that he might be faking it, I really hope he is.
I think the Bonnie stuff is pretty interesting but it's a shame if her friendship with Damon is already over because I really liked them together. I think the stuff about Damon and his mother could be interesting but I really wish they'd made it about Damon and Stefan as this show could really benefit from a strong brotherly bond related episode. They don't use the chemistry between Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder enough on this show and I think that's a real shame.
