Unfortunately we haven't had any more snow - well, we had a bit this morning but it didn't settle at all. How disappointing.
In TV news: last night was a pretty full TV night for me. First up was
SPN 10x12
I really enjoyed this episode and think it was probably the best standalone monster of the week they've done for a while. I miss these kind of episodes - the ones that could fit into any season really and only feature small snippets of the ongoing storylines. I really miss these kind of episodes.
I thought the idea of witches turning people back into children so they could eat them was quite fun and the kind of thing that this show could have done in the early episodes. And it was good seeing Dylan Everett back as young Dean Winchester as I enjoyed his performance in 9x07. He does a good job of being Jensen without just imitating him, if you know what I mean.
I loved Sam's reaction when the young version of Dean arrived on his door step - that was funny - and I also liked the brief idea of Dean staying that way because the mark of Cain had gone. Of course that idea didn't last long when Dean realised that his 14 year old self wasn't strong enough to save the day.
And I thought the mentions of Taylor Swift's music was pretty funny and I loved the final scene. The look on Sam's face was classic!
More like this please.

The Flash 1x12
I thought this was another strong episode. I thought the Metahuman of the month storyline was pretty good and the subplots worked well along side it.
I loved the scenes between Barry and Caitlin this week - I really love their friendship but I don't think I want to ship it because I just really like it the way it is. I don't there's enough simple male/female friendships on TV so I kinda hope they don't go down the romantic route with them. I thought the scenes at the bar were fun (loved that they had Grant Gustin sing. Of course!) and the scene when Barry took the drunk Caitlin home were sweet. I'm looking forward to more scenes between them.
I liked the introduction to Barry's new potential love interest Linda Park and I'm looking forward to seeing how things go between them and Iris' reaction to it. I think there might be a bit of jealously to come. Maybe Iris likes the idea of Barry liking her and might not like it if his attention goes to someone else? Or maybe she might feel more for Barry than friendship but she's never thought about it before? I guess we'll see when the episodes go on.
I think we all figured that Cisco would let Hartley out but at least we have a bit more information about what happened to Ronnie - I thought it was sweet that Cisco felt so bad about what happened that he felt the need to figure things out for Caitlin. Even though she didn't blame him anyway, he was doing what Ronnie told him to do. I think Cisco knows he did the right thing but still feels guilty.
Oh, and Barry's Dad knows, doesn't he? I liked the scenes between them. Looking forward to next week.

POI 4x13
I have to be honest, I'm not loving this show at the moment. I don't really know why but I'm just not feeling it and it's not really holding my attention these days. I thought this episode was okay - I liked that they were still looking for Shaw, even though they followed the wrong evidence.
And that final scene? So, Shaw is still alive then?
Then I watched "Grimm" - 4x02 - I thought this episode was a good one and I'm interested in how things are gonna go from here. Truble is in trouble again (I guess that's where her nickname comes from) and what have they done to Nick now? I feel sorry for him because it's just always something. I thought Juliette was annoying though when she told Monroe and Rosalee to stop looking for a way for Nick to get his Grimm powers back because she'd decided that Nick probably doesn't want them back and she wants them to let him make his mind up. Surely if Nick was happy with his non-Grimm status he would have told them himself?
Finally I watched "Bones" - 10x04 - I thought this episode was okay. I think Aubrey's quite cool and I liked him geeking out about the video games. I thought the subplot of Booth and Brennan deciding which kindergarten to send Christine to was quite boring and, I know the US school system is different to ours but, how old is Christine supposed to be? She looks way older than a child who's parents are just deciding which school to send her too. It bothers me every time she's on this show.
Oh, and Angela really annoys me. These day I don't even know why but everything she does just annoys me so much.
