Last post of 2014
I can't believe I'm sitting here typing about it being the final day of the year again. It doesn't seem that long ago when I was posting about it being the last day ot 2013. This year has flown by and I think, personally, it's generally been quite a good one. Nothing terrible has happened, work's been pretty good this year (I kind of got a small promotion so that's all good), I finished my child care level three course, I've continued to enjoy my shows (and found some new ones) and the FIFA World Cup was awesome this year - I'll never forget me and Mark hooking up two TVs in the living room because we couldn't decide which match to watch and rushing back from the Wolf's Bane 2 convention to get home in time for the final! Speaking of Wolf's Bane 2, this year was the first time I went to a stay over night convention by myself (last year I went to one in Heathrow but that didn't require staying over) which I think is a pretty big step for me. I have another stay over night one booked for this year (and another one in Heathrow).
Anyway, I don't know what I'm gonna do for the last day of this year yet - will probably either be shopping somewhere or going for a walk somewhere - but I have a mini movie marathon planned for this evening and am gonna watch "Strange Days" (haven't seen that for years) and "New Years Eve". Both seem pretty fitting for tonight. I'll probably start that at around 7-ish so I can come downstairs at midnight to see the New Year in with everyone.
