One day when I came home at lunch time

I went to the cinema last night where I watched "McBusted: TourPlay" Despite my reservations about the whole McBusted thing I had to go and see this and I'm glad I did.

I really enjoyed it - the performance stuff was brilliant, of course (I saw the tour, it was awesome), but mixing performances from the O2 (I think?) and Hyde Park was a bit jarring at first, mainly because one was in side and dark and the other was outside and sunlight. By the end I didn't notice much anymore.

I think the most interesting stuff was the "behind the scenes" stuff though - I loved all the interviews from the boys (and the stuff they were saying about being so happy and having so much fun being in McBusted kinda made me feel bad about wanting McFly back). I'm glad they're all enjoying themselves and I hope it continues for a little while longer, just for them. My favourite stuff was probably seeing how the tour was all put together though - I loved the moments of them seeing the set when it was almost finished and the amount of people involved it getting something as big as this on the road alway amazes me.

I hope there's gonna be a DVD release (I think there is) because I love to watch it again. Of course there is! TourPlay DVD (plus full live at the O2)

Trailers:

Mr Turner - this looks pretty interesting but, if I'm honest, it's just not my kind of film. I don't think I'll see this.

The Imitation Game - this looks quite interesting too but probably isn't something I'd go to the cinema for. I might check it out on TV though.

Interstellar - as I said in my last cinema post this is a good trailer but it looks a bit serious and I'm not really a fan of serious sci-fi. I might check out some reviews before deciding about this.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 - Still haven't seen the 2nd Hunger Games movie so don't think I'll rush to see this (I'll have to see the 2nd one first!).

When I got back I watched Castle 7x05

I really enjoyed this episode. I thought the case was a really good one and I liked the inclusion of David Marciano as the ex cop from the Cyber Crimes division. He seemed like a really interesting character and I liked that he ended up helping them out even though he was initially a suspect. I wonder if he'll appear again in the future? And, of course, I remember David Marciano from his role in "Due South" back in the day. I've enjoyed seeing guest appearances from him ever since.

The idea of someone killing the cyber famous was quite good, I thought, and I liked the way they made up their own social media site instead of using an already established one - was this one a dig at instagram?

I also liked the subplot of Castle's marketing video for his new book. I can't imagine the video they put together actually inspiring people to buy the book though - even if it does go viral. Will people really take his work seriously?

NCIS: LA 6x05

I thought this episode was quite good - the case of the week was interesting enough and there were some good scenes between the teams as usual. The best thing about it for me though was when Grainger showed up at the end, having pretty much solved the case and then came and saved Callen and Sam. They better be grateful for that and start treating him like a member of the team instead of the enemy.

I can't think of much else to say about this episode unfortunately. I did enjoy it though.
