TV catch up

On Friday night I watched "Star-Crossed" - 1x08 - I thought this episode was pretty good and this show seems to be getting going now (which is shame because it's cancelled). I liked the idea of the Atrian's having a Thanksgiving/Christmas type celebration and I thought them inviting some human's lead to some cool scenes and conflicts. I thought the Drake stuff was interesting - so trag wanted to release his mother (what was she even being held for?), why did they want to do that? Did they want Roman and his family to see what his uncle had done? I'm not entirely sure why they wanted to do all that. It did lead to that interesting scene of Emery seeing what had happened and having to tell Roman what she'd seen on that recorder thing.

Grayson's storyline has taken a turn - I wonder what lies ahead for him? He's joined the Red Hawks now? And I don't think it's a good idea for Julia teaming up with that woman for her research. I wonder where that's gonna lead?

With only five episodes left now we can only hope for a decent ending, I guess.

Then I watched "The Tomorrow People" - 1x20 - I thought this episode was another good one. So do we know for sure that The Founder is the bad guy? And Roger and Jedikiah are trying to stop him? I'm glad Stephen knows about Hilary now but I think she regrets it, she actually did fall in love with him and really regrets what she's done (I wonder what the Founder had on her to make her do it?) and I felt quite sorry for her when she blew herself up. I wonder if she has managed to take the Founder with her?

And John doesn't have his powers anymore? He's human now? What does that mean for him as a character? Maybe it'll end up being good for him? He might make a good human. I guess we'll soon find out.

With only two episodes left now, I wonder how it's all gonna end?

Then last night I watched "Beauty and the Beast" - 2x15 - I think show has kind of lost it's way a little bit. I'm not enjoying it as much as I once was. I think it's a shame that they've just used the Gabe and Cat relationship as stop gap before she gets back together with Vincent. I really liked Cat and Gabe as a couple and it kind of bothers me that after telling Gabe that she wanted to be with him and was gonna cut Vincent off she ends up kissing him and, I'm assuming, sleeping with him! Gabe is gonna feel really betrayed. I mean, he gave her a way out if she wanted it but she didn't take it. I'm not looking forward to the fall out.

And where's the Sam storyline going? Obviously that's not over yet.

Finally I watched "Bones" -  9x17 - I thought this episode was pretty good. I liked the introduction to the new intern and while I liked how welcoming they were to him (especially the scene between him and Hodgins near the end) but it kind of annoyed me because weren't that nice to Oliver earlier in the season. The inconsistencies there bugged me a bit but I got over it.

I quite liked the Booth and Brennan stuff and, while I'm not a religious person, I think I agreed with Booth regarding Christine. He didn't want to force his beliefs on her, he just wants to show her what he believes in which would give her the chance to decide for herself. I thought that was perfectly reasonable so I was glad when Booth and Brennan reached an agreement at the end of the episode.
