Got a few TV shows to comment on - although I'm not really sure what to say about some of them!
On Thursday I watched "Bates Motel" - 2x08 - I thought this was a pretty good episode again. You can really see the cracks forming in Norman and in his relationship with Norma. I quite like that the Sheriff is just asking Norman off the record because they've convicted who they think killed Miss Watson anyway. He just wants to know what happened between them. I think that Norman honestly just doesn't remember so can't answer the questions in the way the Sheriff wants. I wonder what's gonna happen now that dude Norma knows (name?) has Norman? Can he convince her to make a meeting with Dylan? Or will the Sheriff sort things out? I'm quite looking forward to the next episode so I can see how things play out.
I also watched "Intelligence" - 1x07 - I thought this episode was okay but something is still a bit off with this show. Like something just isn't working but I'm not sure what it is. I'm enjoying the scenes between Gabriel and Riley (although I don't think their chemistry is the best ever, it works well enough) and I think the cases are generally good - the case of the week this week was quite an interesting one and I liked that effected one of their own too and they had to figure out how to solve it so they could save his life. As this show progresses I'm not at all surprised that it got cancelled. There's something there but, at the end of the day, it's just wasn't good enough to succeed.
Then last night I watched "Perception" - 2x13 - I thought this was quite a good episode. I liked that it turned out that Cobra was just a fraud and everything he was doing was just a game to him. Did he really believe he was this spy dude or was he just pretending? And his girlfriend was delusional if she believed him even when the evidence she was being presented with proved that he wasn't for real.
I thought the Moretti and Donnie stuff was quite good too - it was nice seeing more detail on what happened during their marriage. I wonder if she'll ever be able to get past it and embark on a relationship with him again? There's only one episode left in this season - I honestly don't understand why they had such a big gap between episodes 1-10 and episodes 11-14. It's just made things feel quite disjointed. And it's just come back and then it's going again.
I also watched "Believe" - 1x09 - this show is heading towards its finale now so I'm just hoping that things are gonna end well, and all the story arcs are concluded properly. I thought this was a good episode though - I'm still enjoying Tate and Bo together and I liked that he stood his ground with her a little bit, even though he caved in the end because he believed her. I don't think Bo has ever had an adult tell or what to do before, or what not to do, and I think she really needs it sometimes. Hopefully Tate can be that person for her.
That new girl at Orchestra is worrying. She's not a good person, is she? I don't think that is gonna end well at all.
I also watched the second part of "Fearne and McBusted" - I thought it was a pretty good show. I thought the James interview was quite interesting and he seemed quite sad about Charlie not wanting to join them. And even though James kept saying he's happy now he just seemed so sad. Maybe that's just his personality or something?
Well, look at that? I found something to say in the end.
