You embroidered my name on some over-sized hosiery. How odd.

NCIS: LA 5x14

It was good to have this show back after what seemed like a long break (even though it wasn’t really). I enjoyed this episode.

I thought the case was pretty good - I guess it turned out that the victims were protecting that woman who worked in that store from the bad guy. Speaking of, I liked the way Deeks was with her when he was talking to her about the investigation. It was really sweet of him not to get her in trouble with her boss.

I thought the Granger and Deeks scenes were good too - the scene when Deeks was asking him if there was something he should know about Kensi was especially good. “Not really”. Touche, right? I’m beginning to think Deeks has good chemistry with everyone. Oh, and then when Granger threatened to shoot that dude. He’s kind of a badass, isn’t he? Even Callen, Sam and Deeks seemed surprised about that.

I wonder what Kensi has got herself in the middle of? I wonder if she is right about that dude? I liked that she’s been in touch with Nell and it was cool that Nell then confided in Eric about it - I was kinda waiting for her to tell the others though. I thought the scene between her, Eric and Granger in ops was cute. Loved Eric telling Granger he liked his beard! Lol!

I really liked the kick arse Nell scenes again - I really like her character. She might be small but she can more than hold her own in these kind of situations. I wonder where her character is heading? They keep including these kind of scenes with her. And I totally ship her with Callen (logically I know nothing is gonna happen between them but that’s okay. I still really enjoy their little moments) so I loved that Callen was the one who caught her when Sam and Callen came bursting in to help her out.

I’m not sure how I felt about Sam setting Callen up like that - even though that woman seemed nice enough. I wonder if Callen will be annoyed about it? I would be if someone did the same to me. I did like their banter scenes in the build up to the dinner though. Their banter is always good.

SPN 9x13

I thought this episode was pretty good - a kinda standard monster of the week type thing but that’s what I liked about it. It could have fit in any season really. Apart from the little ongoing arc of Sam and Dean’s relationship falling apart again.

I felt really sorry for Dean during this episode actually - I think it’s pretty obvious that he’s bordering on falling apart here. He’s not sleeping and he’s drinking heavily again. And he’s getting all beardy - with I think is a conscious decision by the makers of the show because Dean’s almost always been shaved hasn’t he? I think he’s taking Kevin’s death really hard and all the stuff with Sam just isn’t helping matters. I can understand where Sam is coming from, he’s sick of Dean making decisions for him and always trying to save him but I think he was a little harsh at the end of this episode. I know he has a point to make but can he not see how much of a mess Dean is in right now? I’m not sure if it’s the right time to be making a stand here.

I think Dean is on the edge right now and Sam saying that he would let Dean die if the situation was reversed could be what pushes him over.

I’m interested in seeing where this might be going because even though Dean has always been damaged (we can blame their father for that) I don’t think he’s been this broken before. And he’s always had Sam on his side before. I’m worried for him. I hope the next episode has Castiel in it so he can be a bit supportive of him.

After that I watched Grimm which finally arrived on UK TV with 3x01. I thought this was a good start to the season and I'm really curious about where things are gonna go from here for Nick. I'm worried he's gonna end up killing someone and like, Renard said, he wouldn't come back from that - even though he's not really himself he'd still have killed someone. I hope the gang can stop him before it comes to that. And even if they do will there be side effects? He's not a normal human after all. He's a Grimm.

I really liked everyone else teaming up to help try and find him actually.

I'm not really sure what the Adalind storyline is all about as I don't really remember much about it from last season.

Then "Sleepy Hollow" returned with 1x10. I thought this was a pretty interesting episode but it was very talky - like really dialogue driven - which can be good sometimes but I found it a little hard to follow in places. It was weird watching it now as it was obviously meant to have been shown before Christmas. I liked the Christmas references though and the final scene when she gave him the Christmas stocking was really sweet. I loved that he didn't really get it but appreciated the gesture anyway. I really like their friendship.

The stuff with Irving was very interesting too - I wonder where all that is gonna lead? What part is his daughter gonna play in the upcoming episodes? While I'm not loving this show as much as I'd hoped I do enjoy it and am glad it's back.

In other news: have you seen the promo for next weeks "Teen Wolf" (3x18). Well, I'm not ready for this at all. I think I'm way too emotionally attached to Stiles so this episode is gonna hurt.

ETA: Psych to end after 8 seasons. I kinda thought we already knew that? It's a shame that it's gonna end but 8 seasons is a great run, let's hope the finale is really good!
