Castle 6x02

I really enjoyed this episode - I really like the DC setting and hope Beckett stays there for at least a few more episodes. I like the FBI agents she works with and I especially liked how they were willing to bend the rules to help Castle. I thought that was really cool. I think the final scene in the episode meant that Beckett was considering going back to the NYPD. I think it'll be a shame if she gives up this job because she could be really great at it.

I thought it was quite weird that Castle didn't tell his mother and Alexis what was going on but I was glad that he phoned them to say goodbye even if he didn't actually tell them why. They knew that something was up though and I liked that they went to the to NY station to talk to Ryan and Esposito (incidentally, I loved that little scene between them about having children and coaching T-ball) about it and see if they knew anything.

I quite liked how his almost death was understated as I was expecting it to be more serious.

It was fun seeing Glenn Morshower playing the same kind of role he always seems to play - he was, of course, Aaron Pierce, in "24". And then the same actor who has played a suspected terrorist in "24" (among other shows) played a suspected terrorist in this. Weird typecasting. Oh, and the dude who played the actual killer was in "Alphas".

Last night I also watched Do No Harm" 1x11. I thought this was another good episode and I'm looking forward to how this show is gonna end, there's only two episodes left. I hope it ends well. And then "Perception" 2x05, another cool episode. I can never really think of much to say about this show but I do enjoy watching it and Eric McCormack is always brilliant. Loved seeing DJ Qualls too. I wonder if he'll be in it again?
