Suits 3x04
ANother strong episode this week - I loved the idea of Harvey and Louis being against each other again. It was almost like the old days! And I really liked that Jessica stood up for Louis for once and the scenes between them were good. I felt sorry for Louis again at the end when he felt bad because he'd made Ava lose her company.
I was quite surprised by the revelation that she's actually innocent - both Harvey and Mike thought she was guilty and even though they both said it didn't matter things definitely seemed more urgent when they realised that she was innocent after all, I guess it's easy to be passionate about someone when you know they didn't do it.
Some great scenes with Mike and Harvey as usual - and I liked that Mike is obviously on Harvey's side with his plan to take over from Jessica. And I guess he hasn't told Rachel which is good, although I wonder if she'll get all funny about him lying to her again once she does find out?
I really liked Katrina in this episode (I think that might be a first) and it was really nice seeing her bonding with Mike. I guess they're not so different after all. Especially when she said she was loyal to Louis (incidentally I loved how her dress was the same colour as Louis' tie. I wonder if they co-ordinated on purpose?) - I really enjoyed her scenes with Louis, especially the Litt up one. I especially thought it was cute that they bonded over TV shows. Personally I just think there's something cool about that. I was a bit worried by Rachel's jelousy a first but in the end it led to a pretty cute scene between her and Mike. Awww.
The Stephen and Donna stuff was good too and I liked that she was gonna tell Harvey but decided against it because he was obviously in a bad mood. I wonder if she actually well tell him? Or will he find out from someone else and be annoyed?
Oh, and the scenes between Jessica and Darby were pretty badass! I'm not even sure who's side I want to be on here! Out of loyalty (ha!) I kinda want to be on Jessica's side but because Harvey's going against her I kinda want to be on Darby's side. It's a very confusing situation.
And btw, how long have Gabriel Macht and Patrick J Adams been executive producers? My downloads don't normally have the end credits but this one did and I saw the executive producers credit! That's kinda cool.
Last night I also watched "Falling Skies" - 3x04 - I honestly have no idea what's going on most of the time when I watch this show, I thought this episode was pretty good though. I guess Anne was right to think there was something wrong with the baby but what's she gonna do? And that crazy doctor dude knows so surely he'll tell someone, right? And the Hal storyline has got very interesting - and Drew Roy is doing it very well, so far. So is real Hal stuck in the mirror now?
On Tuesday night I also watched "New Girl" - 2x20 - I thought this was a really good episode. Kinda serious and very character driven. I really like it when sitcoms do stuff like that, especially when they do it well and this episode was done really well, I thought. I loved it when Nick saw Jess being Elvis. You could see the love in his eyes. Awww. When I first started watching this show I wasn't that impressed but as it's gone on, especially through the second season, it's become so much more character driven and I love it when sitcoms do that and, unfortunately, it doesn't seem to happen very much. Anyway, Nick is still my favourite.
I also watched "The Mindy Project" - 1x20 - I'm also starting to enjoy this show too and I thought this was a good episode. I love Danny and am starting to really ship him and Mindy.
On Tuesday night I also watched "CSI:NY" - 9x02 - not really feeling this season so far and this second episode wasn't really much of an improvement on the 1st one. Maybe now they've moved on from the arsonist storyline it'll be better. I did like the introduction of the new detective and the Mac stuff is pretty interesting. If he's forgetting things should be really be in the field?
