I think I ate a dodgy egg, I'll join you presently
Okay, this cold I've got it really starting to annoy me now. It's affecting my sleep which is just plain annoying. I was woken up twice last night with coughing fits - you know when you cough so much it makes your head hurt and makes you feel like you're gonna be physically sick? That was me last night and I hate being physically sick. I know no-one likes throwing up but I really hate it! I can't even remember the last time I was physically sick because I try to avoid it as much as possible.
Anyway, enough complaining. I watched my shows last night. I already posted about Five-0 but after that I watched "Elementary" - 1x08. Thought it was a pretty good episode again this week. The case of the week was interesting enough although there weren't really any other suspects. I guess it wasn't really a whodunnit though. It was cool seeing Lisa Edelstein making an appearance too. I think what I like most about this show is the characterisation - Jonny Lee Miller's Sherlock is pretty cool and I like his interactions with Joan. I liked how he kept putting off finding a sponsor. He might want to deny it but I think we all know he's gonna miss her when her term as companion is over. She's right, that probably is why he's not being very receptive to any sponsor suggestions Joan makes. I think she'll miss him too. Obviously she's not gonna leave but I wonder how they're gonna explain that?
After that I watched "Alphas" - 2x12 - I was really tired while watching this episode but I managed to make it through to the end. I thought it was an okay episode. I think on a whole this season has been a bit disappointing and there's only one episode to go. And there hasn't been any announcement regarding renewal. In a way I sorta hope it doesn't get renewed so I don't have to make the decision about whether to continue watching it or not. Gary's still awesome, of course, but the storylines seem to have got too complicated and serious and I think I'd rather have some cool character stuff instead of that.
In other news: today is 12/12/12. Isn't that like good luck or something? It's definitely something anyway. It won't happen again in our lifetimes anyway.
