I watched "A Gifted Man" last night - 1x10 - I really enjoyed it again this week - doctors really do make the worst patients. I've really started to like all of the characters (apart from the dead ex wife who's still annoying) and I'm gonna miss them all when the show ends for good in five episodes time.
I knew going in that this show only had one season so I can't complain really. Still a shame it didn't find a good audience.
I enjoyed this episode - actually thought it was slightly better than the season premiere. Kevin's mother was kind of cool, wasn't she? I think Sam and Dean were quite surprised at how cool she was.
I'm really interested in what exactly happened to Castiel while they were in purgatory - the flashbacks were really cool (I was surprised to see Misha Collins making an appearance already) and it was nice to see Castiel's explanation for why he ran off and left Dean by himself, of course it was gonna be to save or protect Dean so that made perfect sense. It was just safer for Dean to be away from Castiel and Castiel knew that. Even though Dean would rather then stick together. Aww, I love their friendship (in a non slashy way).
So now Crowley now has the tablet thingy? I hope the rest of the season isn't gonna be focused on getting it back. I really want some old fashioned monster of the week episodes this season.
I felt sorry for Dean (again) when he said that people around him always end up dead when he doesn't need them anymore (I can't remember the exact line of dialogue), obviously that meant something more to Dean and in relation to Castiel. I wonder how long it'll take before they tell us what happened to him? I want to know but at the same time I don't want to find out too soon. I think they could drag it out for at least half the season if it's done well.
Oh, and I loved it when Crowley called Sam "Samantha". Lol! And the introduction of that other angel, I wonder if we'll see him again?
I was gonna watch the season 2 finale of "Franklin and Bash" but I was too tired so I just TiVo'd it. I'll probably watch it tonight.
