Happy October
I went to The London Tattoo Convention yesterday with Lisa my tattoo buddy (and work colleague). I'd been thinking about going to one for a little while but didn't know anyone who would come with me but I mentioned it to Lisa the last time we got tattoos and she said she'd be up for coming. It was a pretty cool event, everywhere you looked someone was getting a tattoo. It just made me really want to get one - well, I wanted to get one anyway and know exactly what I want but just need to find time to get it (maybe December), I also have an idea for what I want to get after that one. As soon as we arrived there it had that tattoo smell. It was cool.
Ami James and Tim Hendricks were there - both great artists and it was cool seeing them working. Anyway, it was a cool day out and I'd quite like to go again. Incidentally, Ami is opening a tattoo place in London soon. How cool is that?
Then last night I watched "Rookie Blue" - 3x04 - which I thought was okay this week. I liked the scene in the car between Dov and Oliver. It was nice to see them both opening up a bit. I'm really intrigued about where this Dov storyline might go. I hope it gives the actor something good to to.
