Went a little Mentalist on you there, didn't he?

Watched another episode of "Smash" last night - 1x03 - thought it was okay. Might start watching it weekly from next Monday (the day it airs).

After that I watched "A Gifted Man" - 1x05 - quite enjoyed it again. I find that the episodes are so much better when his dead ex-wife isn't in it very much (like this one and last weeks - I hope that continues). I liked the introduction of the new doctor - Emo - who's played by Eriq La Salle (I really wanted his character to be called Dr Benton) and I'm interested in seeing how he fits in with the dynamic, especially now Mike is working at the health centre more and can't be at his own practice quite as much. I felt sorry for Mike when they Zeke and Kate lied to him about the little boy. He could have been in really big trouble because of that, I could understand him being annoyed with them, if they'd asked he might have said yes anyway but he wasn't given the choice. I've noticed that Patrick Wilson has good chemistry with everyone - Emo, Zeke, Kate. I thought they were gonna go down the Mike and Kate route so was surprised when her husband showed up at the end.

I'm quite enjoying the show anyway - I know it only has one season but I'm okay with that.

Then I watched "Franklin & Bash"- 2x05 - another really fun episode! I love the way Jared and Peter are together - their friendship chemistry is amazing and I love how in sync they are with each other. It makes their scenes really fun. It was an interesting case too and I liked how they figured things out - and proved it using one of their patented court room antics.

Interesting case with Damien too and I liked how it turned out that his friend had a thing for him and not the girl he thought they fought over in college. I kinda liked that Damien was a bit standoff-ish about everything at first but then accepted it. I though it was a pretty realistic portrayal of how an old friend might react to news like that.

Oh, and I liked Jared's tie with the guns on. Very cool. I'm gonna be looking out for what's on his ties now.

Oh, on Wednesday night I rewatched the two episodes of "Supernatural" that aired on SkyLiving - 7x06 and 7x07. I really enjoyed those episodes, they seemed like really simple standalone episodes. "Supernatural" is good at that and I'd like to see them do more of them (like they used to). Speaking of "Supernatural" they released the S8 promo yesterday!
