Friday again already!
The "Hawaii Five-0" promo is finally here! But it says it's unavailable. Probably because I'm in the wrong country or something. WHAT?? Can anyone else watch this? That's just rude, releasing it but not letting me see it! Give it to me!!
In other, less traumatic, news: I watched "A Gifted Man" last night - 1x04 - I really liked this episode. Probably because his dead ex wife wasn't in it very much. I really like the new doctor Kate and her interaction with Michael (and, well, everyone) is really good. I hope her introduction leads to less screen time for the annoying dead ex wife. The cases were interesting too and I liked the scene when Michael was talking to that kid when he was having the MRI - that was a really good insight into his character and how much he gave up for his ex wife when they were together. When I first heard about this show I thought the main character was meant to be this mean, but brilliant, doctor with no bedside manner and his down to earth, nice dead ex wife was supposed to influence him for the better and make him see the error of his ways but I know I've only seen 4 episodes but it's nothing like that and I find the main character really likable and a good enough person anyway - and wife just seems annoying. The way it's been written and acted doesn't match with what I thought the premise was. I really like Patrick Wilson in it and I hope the fact that this was cancelled doesn't put him off of doing TV again because he's really watchable and does a good job of carrying the show - not all actors are good at that.
After that I watched "Franklin & Bash" - 2x04 - I enjoyed this episode. I liked the stuff with Peter and his music and guitar playing - loved his comment about how the last century was better! And it was nice to see Jared's Dad again and have some insight into their relationship and have some serious stuff was Jared - Breckin Meyer's good at it, they should do some more of it. I also liked how Infeld dragged Pindar into that court case to help him. It was cute when Pindar realised what had happened. Aww.
Oh, and Jared being a judge for a week. Ha!
Right, gonna go and see if I can watch that promo somewhere.
