I spent much of the day with Yaron today, and thoroughly enjoyed it. We must do this more often.
Much to my disappointment, Hillcrest Mall no longer sells Icees. For those of you who aren't in the know, Icees are the epitomy of frozen drinks. They are a rare commodity in this country. The list of places where they are available is small, and shrinking. If you get the chance, I highly suggest you make your way to one of the following Icee retailers:
Eaton Centre: Pretzelmaker
Fairview Mall: Pretzelmaker, Mrs. Fields (found this one today!!)
Stone Road Mall (Guelph): Food court
AMC Movie Theatres
Most likely, you will be confronted with a choice of flavours. Red is cherry. Blue is raspberry. Blue is way better. Do not succumb to the temptation of ordering a mix. This is weakness through indecision. Get blue. It is cold, carbonated, and delicious.
Analysis of the post-Icee experience reminded me that I am one of the very few people that is capable of seeing his or her own tongue by sticking it out and looking down. It had a rich blue colour, and I'm assuming I had the blue lips to complement it. Kiss me, I'm hypothermic.
I unfortunately did not manage to pull off any April Fools jokes. Most of the ones that came to mind were too mean to be funny, so I abandoned them in the early planning stages. Oh well. There's always next year.
