Doctor Who 103 The Edge of Destruction
I don't like putting the prefix 'Classic' in front of Doctor. They're all the Doctor. Actually I had a conversation today with Who watchers who only consider NuWho viable watching material. I only started with Nine but I was willing to try out the former doctors. Am I glad I did cuz I found all my wonderful Doctors!
I have to admit, I wasn't sure about One. He already had my love because HELLO THE FIRST DOCTOR!! But I really didn't feel the whole doctory feel at the beginning. Unearthly Child was good and all but he just seemed like a crotchety old man. The less said about the Cave of Skulls the better. *rolls eyes so hard at primitive man*
But in Edge, he just was SO DOCTOR! There was a moment when he was "apologizing" that made me flail my arms and make squeaking noises of squeeful recognition. He was THE DOCTOR!!
I'm currently working my way through Marco Polo. DANG! WHY OH WHY did it have to be burninated!? Such good writing! and Acting!
