A day at the races... w/CAKE

I notice he wins all the time.

And as carly would say, "and then Koda happened". With kelly, patrick, sameer, and ryan redfield. I hung out with them for awhile, for the betting. Kelly and Patrick were bent on getting the really outrageous bets, the ones with close to zero odds of success.
And then Dwummor Dan happened and we wandered around.
And then Carly and her possé happened. Carly: omg! touch touch touch. Megan:j00. Ellie: yatta! ^______^.
Okay, maybe i'm lying about her possé. I like what you've done with your hair, by the way carly. It is most sassy. Sorry if its soo late that i've noticed a change.
And then drunk people happened.
And then trumpet players happened: Mark, Maggie, and republican Bochenko.
And then Chicken Gyros happened.
And then ditching trumpet players happened.
And then weasling to the front of the stage happened.
And then Cory Neptune happened.
And then PeterR became a pussy.
And then the slow-poke tuner crew happened.
And then Mofficer, PeterM, and Clint happened.
And then Trumpet players couldn't hear me and slowly became pushed farther back.
And then the PA system fucked up.
And then CAKE happened.
And then the PA system really fucked up.
And the disco ball didn't work.
And CAKE played some more.
And then the PA system REALLY REALLY fucked up.
And then this stoner kid next to me threw stuff at McCrea. That bastard.
And then the PA fixed.
And then music happened. The guitar and bass sound soo much cooler live.
And then McCrea got pissed.
And then the audience got really into it.
And then McCrea started to like San Diego. Vince is too kind and passive to show any lip.
And CAKE can perform really good and can do other stuff good too.
And then the photographers pissed off McCrea.
And then I forgot all the other cool details.
Dan said he liked last year's concert much more. In terms of music, I'd have to agree with him. But there were much more people at the concert this year. They all knew of CAKE really well too. And the lady that was next to me's sister is weezer's manager. CAKE seemed to enjoy the audience much more.. despite all the fuck-ups done through the technical team.
And then we were all going to go to my house which is really close. Then PeterR told us to go to JennT's instead, which is really far away. And then I drove there and no one was there. Fuck!
