I think I have struggled with my own attraction to Transmen. I have not given it voice: because I feel I should be silent about my attraction and I feel as if I should be ashamed of my attraction (a great deal of folks have made me feel as if my attraction is wrong; I get it; I know the politics). I am apprehensive to use the word trannychaser as much as I am apprehensive to use the words Transensual Femme. So what am I? I am censored because I do not want to offend anyone and I am frowned up or I am saught out by Transmen (some in the closet) who want to have sex with me.
However: I am Femme. Femme is my gender. It is my box, unfortunately, but its my own celebration and I feel empowerment to say the word Femme, because it is my energy.
This is the Bio Boy (I use the word, bio, instead of Non-Trans, because I am Trans, too) who exclusively dates FTMs and Butches. I am a Femme. I am not ashamed of my attraction and I do not apologize for my attraction.
But What about the other side of the coin?
No one frowns upon Transguys for perfering Bio Men opposed to other Transguys, do they? And I think it's because of the Rampant Homophobia in the FTM Community. It's not seen, because it doesn't matter, and if it doesn't matter, then it's not validated - it's as heterosexist as anything else outside of the Community.
Does that make sense?
Either Way, I don't want to get into a politcal debate on livejournal, kiddo, but thank you for this post. It is always interesting to see other peoples thoughts and views.

Dear Ms. Castro,
I think that you are your own special person and are entitled to whatever ideas/feelings/identities you would like to attatch to yourself. As far as trannychasers, my current thoughts are as follows: bring those trannychasing boys on! (bio and trans:)

Ha! You've made my night! Take Care, Sweetie!
Love,
Ms. Castro!
PS: When are you coming to Maine? I think it would be brilliant if you came to our community. We'd welcome you with open arms, of course! Take Care, sweetie, Be Well!

:)
Homophobia within the FTM community is so rampant, it angers me. But i realise that being trans does not discriminate and that you'll have the same arseholes in every crowd.
Now, if some nice person would just come my way...
